Try the program called tyreset 1.8 from LO2K it might do the trick for you. (if you load an old carsetup then it will show the tyres used in that and not the new ones you altered through Tyreset).by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
try this site if you haven't already..... It contains all you want to know about the available mods and the ones that are on the way. And more juice stuff you can use.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Oke i got F12002 this week, in the F1 department it really sucks bigtime in comparison with GP3/GP4. But....like already mentioned there are some great Mods outthere that make it a whole new game. I still have to get the GTR 2002 Mod from a friend, but i already installed the BMW M3 Mod and the Alfa 147 cup Mod. It's awesome, i'm becoming an expert drifter, jihaa. No kidding aside, if yby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Thx. for the replys guys, i don't think there is a solution for it, i just have to use version 1.00 off GP4. Thats not a problem for myself but for the leaugue i'm racing in, they use the patched game and i don't think they want to switch back to version 1.00 for only one guy having troubles with his steeringwheel. And yes there are some readme files that came with the patch and oby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
I know there is a problem with steeringwheels and V1.02 off GP4. I use a ACT-Labs ForceRS system and i cant get the wheel to work (calibrate) correctly in GP4. I know it lies on V1.02 because i replaced V1.02 with V1.00 and then it was fine again. Maybe one off the guys (or women) on this forum have a ForceRS wheel and know a way around this problem. I tried everything but nothing seems to work,by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
just copie your old decrypted GP4.exe v1.00 over the GP4.exe v1.02 (after making a backup off course) and you will be able to use GP4Master and CSC4b for instance. after using them and putting everything into the game just copie your backuped GP4.exe v1.02 back over the one you previously used to get racing again. This was already on this forum by the way.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
oke update...tried it again today, the first time CTD at the same point again bummer. Then i drove another track for several minutes to see if that was oke and it was. then i tried Brazil again and now it was oke. yet another go and yes this was fine too. strange i will keep my eye on this. And no i did not test it yet in win98 because i use that for my racing league and they don't use theby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Don't know if anybody else had this but i installed gp4 on Winxp and applied the patch to get it to version 1.02. All works fine except for Brazil track, everytime i start up gp4 to do a race here (quickrace in this instance on 100%) it begins oke. I drive along the track until i get to the slowest corner, when i acclerate out of this corner i see some graphical glitches but it carries on, iby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
With the unpatched version of GP4 (1.0) it was oke, i even use a clutch pedal as well. There is something wrong here.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Tried to configure my ACT-Labs RSforce with the patched GP4 (1.02) First i used the fixed .exe NOCD version but it did not calibrate proper the Throtthle and brake where both on the A-y axis. Then i tried the original GP4.exe same again it seems that it wount work. I have not loaded software for presets because for sofar i know there is none for the RSforce.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Off course we want it, but you know me by now, a manual path selection button would be appriciated as i have 6 copies of gp4 on my computer. So selecting the one that i want would be preverabel indeed. But don't stress about it, we will see it when it's done, thx for the program as is, cheersby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Well GP4Master works with the patched game i just extracted the cars.wad with it to check the alpha channels of the cars/helmets, they are still heavenly white, so why no shinning on the cars then? weird.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Youre wright no reflections/shinning on the cars anymore after the patch and i did set everything like i had it before. The cars seem much darker then before, it looks like the alpha channels have darkend. Will see what shows up in Photoshop though. Never noticed any difference between static and dynamic setting, even the PO wasn't different when changing this.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Installed the patch and all seems to work oke (PO improved a lot on for instance Australia finish straight, to name just one). I see version 1.02 in the credits screen( hope this is the wright one). I have all settings to High except for pitcrew, the only obvious thing i'm missing with the patch is the shinning on the cars, it's no longer there anymore, they also seem darker to me thenby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
try installing the DirectX version from the GP4 CD, it cured the crashing on Win98 for me, in Win Xp its fine thoughby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
I always use the newest drivers available, so should everybody else if they have problems. And my winxp is also updated with the service pack. Mind you though i play the game in Win98, but in both systems i don't have any trouble waht soever appart from the annoying game bugs. Thx for the info Vader, always like to read that stuff.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
ooh dear that does not sound to good anew card and already flashing?by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Sofar as i can see the program did not alter anything in the game, i suspect that the program has a fault in it LO2K.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
just copy and paste..... 1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0) 1024 ; Game 3D Horizontal Resolution 768 ; Game 3D Vertical Resolution 1 ; Enable 32bit mode if available NB. If Windowed then is forced to desktop format 1 ; Enable hardware T&L if available 0 ; Run in a window 0 ; Number of multisamples if available (0-16 :: 0 => off, 1 unused) 0 ; Forceby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Well could you use the f1graphics.cfg i send ya? I'm curious you know, i also added some lines to the cards.txt file so if you want that answer my question please, heheheby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
It seems that it's not working wright. I used it this way... i imported the settings from my game, altered the tyre assigments for each team then exported them. Then i imported them again to see if it worked, and all but the williams team where altered then i did it again and then it was alright. maybe a little bug somewhere? Going to see if it works in the game now, will let you know a.s.a.by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
sorry, hehehe gp3-visscher@planet.nlby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Where is the list you promised Dumbass???by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
When i installed my TI4600 GP4 run very slow also, i altered the f1graphicsfile a bit, mainly the section about TestedPerformanceLow and TestedPerformanceHigh i have set it it all to 0 !!!! this helped a lot. Now it rarely goes above 120 in the race, but it slightly differs from track to track though. All settings are high 32bit except for pitcrew (medium) and mirrors (only cars) If you want i cby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Yep did put in my vote, now hoping that it will be a ****ing good patch, are you listning Mr. Grammond?by pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
Would you? Please do will ya it will make life much easier if i now which number belongs to which picture i the game. thx in advance. OOh sorry but i can't sleep with you i'm already taken by someone else on the forum LOLby pvisscher - Grand Prix 4
