Thank you so much for the kind words guys! I'm really happy you like the car. I've started mapping today, but I don't know how long it will take me to finish the car, as I've got many exams in the following weeks. I'll do my best to get it done in the shortest time possible. @Erik: thank you so much my friend! I already thought many times about that. I just have to fiby gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys! As some of you may already know, I have been working on Ayrton's last championship car: McLaren-Ford MP4/8. The shape should be finished, including the damage model, for a total of 24795 polys... yeah, i know it's a bit huge. But I wanted to make a really accurate car. It features high detailed shape, cockpit interior, driver and damage model Still mapping and textures to beby gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4

Whao! Those Ferrari renders are really impressive! Where did you find them? Anyway, here's another render by me.by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Here are a couple of simple ones done with V-Ray. Shape is Intweb's Williams FW27. Textures are by Axel180. Click on them to get 1280x1024 versionby gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Thank you for the kind words, guys! I'll open a topic about my version of the car when the shape's done. Just damage model and some details for the cockpit left to do. The mapping and texturing of course!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4

The dowload quota is reset every day at midday Italian time. But, as the server seems to have a delay of more-less 40 mins, the quota is actually reset at 12.40 Italian time. So, you have to wait for an hour from now and you'll be able to start downloading for today...by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Yep, it's your car, Romain! I know, as he asked me for the Renault in my renders and I sent him. Sadly, as he already wrote some post aboves, there's no hi-res version of that render as his pc crashed and he lost the scene... Oh, and btw... great render Daniel!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Hey guys! The car is up and downloadable from Gp4Italia! The blue of the car has been corrected and now it should be almost prefect... And here's the download link! ->CLICK<-by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
quickslick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > i think it will never come out, it's my personal > opinion. Well, actualluy, this car is "parked" in my hd, waiting for some motivation from me or its original authors for working on it. Right now I'm busy with some other projects, but I'd like to finish this one too sooner or later.by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4

Playing? What's playing?! Modding rulez!!! I have GP4 since it's official release in Italy. And almost didn't played it... just had fun modding it! LOLby gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Hey guys! The car is up now at GP4Italia! Sadly the bandwidth for today has expired, but from tomorrow you'll be able to download the car from there! In the mean-while, here you've got 2 renders of it, that I made today! Click on them to get in 1280*1024 resolution!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
The car looks good so far. As far as I can see from the shots you've posted, the car is a bit high from the ground and maybe a bit low poly. But I'm not that sure of the second, as I can't see it clearly with the car all painted black. Please post one or two Zmod shot, possibily one with wireframe and one without it! If you need any help or advice, feel free to contact me!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Yeah! One of my favourite car-maker teams is back! Impressive work there, guys, this car's gonna rock! (As all your other cars ) Keep it up!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4

Yeah! Kev's back shapin'! :D Great work there mate! If I can help in any way, just let me know!by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, that's ways better... and here's what I can tell you about it: - probably you have selected an uncorrect setup - try the other rims available and if you don't like the replace them - sadly is the only Toyota available for Gp4 - whatzzup with camera changin'? - we've tried to simulate 2005 phyiscs, but it works correctly only at ace level - try the other soundsby gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4

No. Those dats contain the magic data for 2005 physics. If you change them you'll have problems with it. Haven't you changed the tracks.set file or something like that?by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
DJKIMI Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > well how come the tracks work with the other 2005 > mod As far as i know 2005 MOD comes with original track order. But I can be wrong. Anyway it's not a problem of MP. As I told you it was tested on original GP4 with no updates at all, and if it works with that, it should work on every GP4. If it doesn'by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
DJKIMI Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > in my game the cars float > > the dat file for each track has seem to have moved > away from the textures and proper route Read my last post... You've surely f***ed something up with the track order. A fresh install of Gp4 will solve the problem.by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
Thank you so much Kentauro and Kev! It's good to have some "help" here! Btw, guys, read the readme please! It's all written there! And always make a backup. The MP2005 has been developed and tested on a freshly installed GP4 9.6 and if it doesn't work properly on your PC, is probably your GP4 and not the MP itself...by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
You need a program named Cmagic. Use it for extracting the "magic data" from the .dat file provided with MP (located in the MP2005/Data/Circuits folder) of the track you wish to change. Once you've done so, replace the .dat file with the new one (the one of the new track) and now insert the magic data you've extracted before into the new .dat file.by gpxcartworld - Grand Prix 4
