danm, you have successfully made me rofl. Legitimately. That is the best picture I have seen in my entire life.by slicer - F1
Thanks alot guys. Got Expat shield installed. BUt Im not sure how it works.by slicer - F1
Thanks you guys. My other problem is that I get up early to go to school. I'm afraid they'll only show the streams live which means I have to wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning to account for the time zone difference. And to be quite honest I'm not that hostile against foreign streams. I've watched Mystery Science Theater 3000 so I can make up my own commentary hehby slicer - F1
Yes. I need them. But I want good streams, with commentary in a language I can understand. Not saying that I'm a lazy American, just that I can't afford Russian lessons now, and I'm only 17 and living with my parents so I don't have any control over which channels we get. It seems saving a couple of dollars is more important than keeping up to date on my future engineeringby slicer - F1
lol speaking of glitches I was playing that game once, driving in the Singapore Grand Prix. I somehow hit the wall (on a straight) and it flipped me upside down. The car started to make really weird noises, much like the Shepard Tone and was moving backwards on the track inch by inch, while I was still upsidedown.by slicer - F1

Great editing, Jolkins! Say where did you get all the fantastic F1 footage?by slicer - F1
And the Human Roadblock Championship of 2010 goes to Vitaly Petrov. Second is Mark Webber for his amazing crash at Korea.by slicer - F1
Out of the newb goobs I prefer Lotus the most. They have a great car (of course in comparison to the two other new teams). I would be amazed if Lotus rose through the ranks, proving the whole money reduction system worked. But hats off to all the new teams! It's a challenge even getting a car on the grid (And we've already had a great example of that failure).by slicer - F1
Well how much time did they have in the first place to build this thing? Either they weren't given enough time or someone slacked off big time in Korea like a typical American teenager in his senior year in high school. I am hoping they pull something out of the bag because from the on board footage it looks like a neat track. (The Slicerer stands behind his statement of American peopleby slicer - F1
I would try to catch qualy tonight at 10:00 PM s here. But I'm a minor living with my parents and they are sure to cart me off right as it starts. Most likely watching the recordings tomorrow on my free time. My two (ok that wasn't even worth a nickel or a dime) cents -The Slicererby slicer - F1
After several weeks thinking about the subject, I have realized my errors. But I do have several questions regarding this change (If it ever does happen). First off will this overrule the current rules (wings, no bodywork)? I could not imagine trying to create a ground effects oriented car with a big ol wing in the back creating drag. If it does how far do you guys think the FIA will let thby slicer - F1
This is all bad... really bad. While I like the idea of ground effects I feel the engine idea is not good. We had something amazing going on with the engines in the early 2000's. Those pieces of technology defined the sport, in my opinion. Now while sound is not the ideal way to judge a car, the spirit of the sport the car came from can always be looked at. What is Formula One. I beby slicer - F1
I can see why Slash. V10's for the bloody win. It looks like the track ain't finished yet so by the time the circus comes to town there might be 20 league runoff areas instead of challenging barriers. I think it looks interesting and different. Thank goodness we don't have more Tilke crap.. unless it is.... crap I need to do some research.by slicer - F1
He might also be refering to the big, omnious 99 obviously exploding on the screen. You could be right and it is in the boot up process (I also find it hard to believe that an F1 car would be doing 99 (kph or mph regardless) in the garage without sacrificing some mechanics to the racing gods) Or something is as hot as 99? or some other value.... All I know is that it's an awesome pictureby slicer - F1
I met several Aston Martin LMP mechanics at Long Beach Grand Prix. They seemed cool. Dave, I wonder how you even got into the garages in the first place.by slicer - F1
hehe sorry for the title. Wow that's great stuff you guys, especially that post LS. Dahie, here they call it Formula SAE, i think. The schools that I have in mind to apply to run that program. One of them even went to the global finals in Europe, where they were overwatched by Ferrari F1. But seriously, folks. I love f1 (derrrrrr). That is why I plan on becoming an engineer. Which kind? That's my question. If anyone here has any remote idea what kind of degrees it takes to get me a job either working at a team HQ or at the pit wall, it would be greatly appreciated. I just realized as a senior in high school I have only a couple of years to make up my mind lol. Thanksby slicer - F1
I've tried running both in compatibility mode for XP. It did nothing.by slicer - Grand Prix 4
Well GP4 runs almost perfectly. I am talking about the CSM and GPXpatch stuff. You mean to say those things work as well, or should?by slicer - Grand Prix 4
I recently just installed GP4 on my computer, a brand new one that can run most games from 2007 very nicely. But I seem to get many errors while trying to use CSM and all of the modding tools. Could it be because I am running Vista?by slicer - Grand Prix 4
Interesting video I found. It's on board footage of Alonso in 06, apparently doing some testing, but with a helmet camera.by slicer - F1
Seeing as how I love only an hour from the dang place... My mom finally got tickets (even though they were the nosebleeders. I did get on TV though!) We went down Saturday. I'm a part of the morning broadcast for my highschool so the teacher allowed me to bring a very sweet camera with me to film. I just wish he would realize that he made a deal, has to keep his end of the bargain and shut the crap up. For harmony's sake I'm glad I'm going to be a technical director and not the greedy boss of the friggen sport. But on a lighter note, I am a bit more optimistic about F1. Maybe in a few odd years we may go back to the glorious v10's. And with the advanced aerodynamiby slicer - F1
If any of you were watching Aussie GP qualy on the Speed channel, one of the remarks from the engineers really caught me off guard.... ....And it is only because I play Team Fortress 2 (this is what the people/characters REALLY say) <Engie>: You are fully charged <Medic> I am FULLY CHARGED!!!
