Download this to your desktop and extract it and run it. It is your new installation of GP4. It should save and load correctly, if you save games to GPSAVES within this folder. Don't copy it to anywhere else on your computer, like C:Programs or it might not work.
You're welcome.

Grand Prix 4 More information? Where saving? Where install?

Grand Prix 4 I don't use CSM so I don't know. I manually install the mods and have an installation for each season, with CSM and all the file swapping I must have had bad luck with it because it always messed up. Hopefully someone else can help you.

Grand Prix 4 Are you using CSM? Maybe you have a corrupted GP4 installation if you are running all those mods in the same installation? Honestly I have no idea

Grand Prix 4 It's difficult to say, I have no idea. Which mods does it happen
with? Sometimes in a race weekend the save option is grey and you can't choose it, but if you go into the next session and then press ESC in the pits you can then save ..

Grand Prix 4 Thanks guys! Slowly but surely getting towards a HQ 97 grid, something I have dreamed of for a long time!
Keep up the great work!

Beautiful! Is that the 98 car? Tyres have an extra groove as in 99, but there was no Goodyear then.

Grand Prix 4 Doubt it very much, the graphics engine is tied to the physics engine, and it would require everything in the game to be recoded and it wouldn't be the same.
In GPL they managed to raise the FPS from 36 to 60 FPS, it looked miles better, but affected the AI quite a bit.

Grand Prix 4 It is indeed, looking forward to its release
Unless I've missed something and it's already out?

Grand Prix 4 Hi Sylvio,
Perhaps the best thing to try is PES 6 for the PC, one of the best footbal games ever made, and with loads of mods. Try here for example, World Cups 74, 78, 82, 86 etc.. the game is included in that link too!

Amazing 97 cars, still WIPs/unreleased I guess? When there is a high Res 97 grid filled by Soulbringer's works it'll be a dream come true!

Grand Prix 4 It was completely abandoned by the Devs I'm afraid. Not sure there is a full version available unless you buy it, the full game displays the user's name in the menus, so I'm not sure you'd be able to try the full version from somewhere...
