I have a problem guys:
I inserted these helmets and tyres in 2002 Mod and from that moment the game always crashes at the end of the loading of the race.
I state that I have inserted the individual helmets and wheels lod0 only .cap files in the Patch folder of the mod. Removing them the race starts but obviously without the individual helmets and wheels.

Can anyone help me please? Because I have tried them all but I cannot identify the error.

i recommend to use patch.ini rather than cap-files. also make sure to name all the helmet files the right way (f. e. teamnames must be the same as set in csm). take a look at my 2021 mod to see how it's done.

The naming convention for the shapes that it's looking for is: CAR_Ferrari_Helmet1_LOD_0.gp4
If I remember correctly, there is a slight discrepancy with naming convention between the patch.ini and the .cap file.

@Carl & @Kev, I have already tried with the 2001 Mod Patch.ini file removing the .cap but the problem persists.
I have also already checked the names of the files and those of CSM but now maybe I check better ...

In the wadcache i noticed that the filenames of helmets are wrong: driverXX_0.gp4 instead of car_team_helmetd_lod_0.gp4

Now by changing the order of the offsets in Patch.ini the race starts with the right wheels but with the game's original helmets.
It's really a mystery ...

are all entries in patch.ini in the right order?
