Hi 'Holemad' Sorry, I hope I didn't put you under any pressure! I am confident it is going to be great. Best regards!!! To Octos - I recommend that you save into GP3 Edit as a carset before using the versions of GP3.exe with high and low airboxes. Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi guys Here you go, a beta version of the F1 1976 MegaPatch: F1 1976 MegaPatch Beta version Now you can re-enact scenes from the movie RUSH! Remember, the final version will have fully adapted tracks to match trackside ads for 1976. Only Paul Ricard, Brands, Zolder and Anderstrop are up to that standard so far. Please give constructive feedback and most of all ENJOY! Elio (PS Iby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Guys I am excited to tell you that the 1976 MagaPatch is nearly ready to share. Perhaps next 24 hrs! I should emphasise that this is a 'beta' version really, as the tracks still need some work. I have a few hours to spend to update track adds on several tracks. Also Holemad is still working on a Major update to the Nordschleife, which (going by his improvements to Paul Ricard)by Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
That is great to read Ettore! Thanks. Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Ettore! Great to hear from you. I will be so excited to drive your 1987 tracks in early 2016. As you can see, the megapatch is ready and awaiting them. Your work will also enable me to improve my 1991 megapatch and be used for my 1989 megapatch in late 2016. Perhaps 'Holemad' might be willing to cut down the 1985 Paul Richard? I would be happy to update the JAMS. His pit builby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
When I release the 1976 MegaPatch (December?) it will be in as GP3 1.13. In fact all by MegaPatches older than 1992 will remain in 1.13 as it is a lot easier to work with and as there are not many Belini standard tracks older than 1996 there doesn't feel much point. HOWEVER the 1994 MegaPatch IS in 2k as is wasn't too big a deal to convert 1996 track graphics to 1994. I released a Betaby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Red Bull are behaving like spoilt children. It was so different in the 1980s. Remember, the Williams team were the leading team in 86 and 87 but Honda choose to give their engine to Lotus and Mclaren, despite the fact that Williams had been their partner since 1983. Frank Williams did not quit but made the best of it using the Judd engine for 1988, while he worked to get a Renault deal for 89.by Elio2013 - F1
The other MegaPatches uploaded are available here. I hope all the links still work! Mega Patch threadby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Ettore As you can see, the F1 MegaPatch is now done. When you have time to complete the tracks it will be great to add these in and go from 'Beta' to version 1.0. Are you aware that Holemad (Dirk Holeman) made a fantastic version of Paul Ricard 1976 with much improved pit buildings etc. Perhaps he might let you use that as a starting point for a Paul Ricard 87 (short track). I am really pleased you are enjoying the MegaPatch. 1985 is the season closest to my heart as it was when I first went to a GP (Brands Hatch) aged 11. But 1987 was great too. I stood by the inside of the pitlane at silverstone and got some great photos. Got to meet Senna, Prost, Mansell, Berger, Fabi and Cheever. It was all much more open in those days. Great times.by Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
And here is the link! F1 1987 MegaPatch BETA Tracks are the main areas to be improved when version 1.0 is released later this year. Too many people deserve credit for the content I have compiled (e.g. Perran Turran), but the following items are my own creations: visors, arms, legs, steering wheels, menus, team art, track art / menus. Next ones coming your way are F1 1976 and CART 98by Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
OK guys, here are two preview images for the set which I am about to upload. Remember, the tracks used are temporary. I've used from from Ettore's 1985 track set but look forward his 1987 trackpack this winter. The others, such as Suzuka, Mexico and Jerez are not very good! But I hope you enjoy everything else. Uploading shortly ... Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Guys I will be ready to share with you my latest MegaPach - 1987, in a few days. The reason it is 'beta' is because it will be waiting for Ettore's track update. Looking forward to sharing! Cheers! Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Some great car skins there! My favourites ... 1. Bentley 2. Peugeot 3. Alfa Romeo and for novelty - Jeep. Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Tim! If you would try, I would be very grateful indeed! Le Mans in the mid to late 80s is one of my favourite periods. To make a Group C shape is pushing the limits of what can be done, but we do have a LMP1 shape and Ferrari F40 shape, which if you took elements from each, you'd achieve it. GP3 is meant to open wheel cars, not closed body. So as will the LMP1 shape and F40 you haveby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi everyone There doesn't seem to be many people around that have the skills to make new carshapes. However, if any could make a Group C sports car shape form the 1980s I would be so grateful and would make a carset for 1985 and other years. The nearest to this I have is a Ferrari F40, which isn't bad but not close enough. Anyone able to help? Thanks, Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Everyone! Here are the files. Nurburgring Someone has offered to improve the track further, so there might be another update. Let me have your suggestions too! ELIOby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi guys I expect many of you have the s Nordschleife (semi fictional) track made by Major Tom. Its the nearest you can get to the real thing within GP3 track length limits. I was pleased to have it but never raced it as it had very strange cartoon features like cows, red trees, odd walls and the like. As part of my up-coming 1976 MegaPatch I have updated the track as far as I can within mby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Jackie Matra! Great to hear from you after all this time! Your sets gave me the head start on building a massive collection of F1 and other photos, so I am very grateful to you. My collection is now 57GB and 88,000 files! I'd be delighted to send it to you as a series of DVDs if you like. It would be my way of saying thanks! Just let me know by a PM is you are interested.by Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi Ettore Here is a link to a folder of 1,300 photos and screen captures for F1 1987 F1 87 Photos I hope these are useful to you in making JAMs for your track pack this autumn and winter. I am working on improved Team Arts, Menus and Track Maps so together we can compile a MegaPatch. Best regards, Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
WOW!! Fantastic. Thank you Stephen, what expert and high quality work. Such accuracy. 1994 cart would be only of my top choices for a new carset. Did you make that great 1998 Cart set? Love that too! Thanks again. ELIOby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3

Hi Guys! I have spend many hours trying to solve a problem. Who can crack it? I have a GP3 1.13 exe in which I have a 2012 carshape with the camera positions needed to use the great T Cam view. I want to use it in GP3 2000, a version I am patching to 2012. I have managed to bring the shape across (with the duck nose) but not the camera position needed. Hi Ettore I can happily wait until then! It will be a great xmas present. By then I'll have finished racing 1981 and 1985 and will be up for making a 1987 MegaPatch. In fact, if you stay on schedule, I could aim to to have menus, artwork, steering wheels etc done by then. I could send you some raw material for Jams such as the weird 'I like Rio' bridge advert. Hi Nathan Yes, could you send me any packs / graphics that you'd recommend I should use to make my 2009 MegaPatch as close to 2009 TV graphics as I can. proethenbaugh@hotmail.co.uk Cheers mate! Philip / Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
A quick shout out to Ettore. Just to say I am very much looking forward to your 1987 track pack mentioned many months ago. Best wishes to you! Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
Hi there Can anyone share the files needed for a 2009 or 2010 tv overlay graphics? I have a 2012 and 2004 but I think 2009 would have been different again. Big thanks! Elioby Elio2013 - Grand Prix 3
