rFactor Race II

The Bathurst outing in v8factor was pretty good fun, so how about another outing next week (10th May) at Lime Rock Park v1.1 -> [www.rfactorcentral.com] ?

Start a bit earlier than before, say 7pm GMT (8pm UK time) with practice at 6pm GMT?

hmmm im not working on the 10th, but i have a 4 hour lfs race the night before.

I know for a fact you don't plan your life a week in advance :P

Hmm, we'll see. Very much needs to work around Le Mans, and I was gonna do another batch this weekend. It sort of depends on how well that goes. It's been a while since I've taken on a race with the level of dedication I'd like (VT6 Sebring excepted!)

I'd like to join this one.

Ill see how my connection is, and if its not bad, then I will, but if its even slightly bad I shouldnt.

Limerock is a much easier track too :p And when we did the ZR race there, I was sure of a good finish, something happened at the start tho, forgot, but it took me out of the race :p

btw.
wil it be the chicane or non ? i'd say non, because of the saftey car and @#$%&, its akward with the chicane.

I will be done with school on May 9th :D, might be able to join you guys for some racing! I'll definitely practice to get to grips with rFactor , problem is that when I do play videogames/PC games I end up playing football ones, like PES 6 on the PS2 or FM 2006 on the PC .

It's not GPL, I won't go sliding away under braking or go that slower on corner exits... no need to be thick headed with me, Gav. I can perfectly move over for people to come by and as I said, I will have practiced.

See, the last race I remember you driving in of which I was apart of, you successfully managed to barge all but the first 2 drivers into either the pit wall or onto the grass at the start because of your insistance or necessity of using driver aids.

In the race prior to that you came down off the bank (as in a grass bank, not camber) of 1 corner and landed square on top another car.

I'm sure you'll accept my excuses for doing anything else.

btw, i'm aiming at doing alot of le mans testing too, it is only 5 weeks away after all.

On the note of V8's - has anyone got advice on setting them up? I used some setups from RFactor Central for the Bathurst jaunt -

But wouldn't know where to start for Limerock...cheers
