This is the best place to get setups for LFS. A lot of the WR holders post there setups here.

Just watching the build up to the F1 Coverage on ITV and they had a feature about the BMW Sauber trackside exhibition. They showed the simulator and it was clearly running rfactor.

I thought BMW Sauber had chosen LFS to be the simulator? Why is it Rfactor?

Well, the only reason I can see behind that is they let both sims create a version of their car, then kept the best version for themselves and let the other team (LFS in this case) release their version just because they took the time, when they could have been making other things.

Doesn't make much sense but I can see no other reason why BMW would let LFS release a car and pick rFactor as their sim.

I wasn't moaning about your flamebait, I was critising the point in calling Rfactor a kiddy game then posting images of Kids playing LFS.

Aren't kids allowed to play it then?

The guys in the simulators are clearly adults.

Actually they are playing it with a keyboard on a laptop ... I'd have thought even you would realise that no matter what racing game you play you can't exactly take it seriously with a keyboard ... "wow I felt that bump on the '<' key"

Same can be said with rFactor, understeer = no steering force at all. Wait a minute understeer doesn't cause that ... or if it does theres something wrong with my car and karts that I've raced

tbh sliding through every corner isn't quick, you do know that ?? I guess it's about time you actually used a proper setup with LFS and tried to do a quick lap. You go set a WR with the car sliding at every single corner ...

anyway , watch the good side of it , the BMW team is using very well known games now ... maybe the drivers even practice on it lol.

Ermm very well known game is LFS if you look at the statistics

If the drivers are practicing on it then they might get confused with understeer ...

You can bet some people are using rFactor for practice I know several drivers who are, and know of a few more who are. Kinda cool knowing the drivers use the same stuff we do!!
