i saw this today on GamerTV on Bravo, and it looked just like the other PS2 F1 games, with crap sound and dodgy graphics.

JPM still has a white top on his helmet, like his Williams one.

the main thing i don't like about F1 games on PS2, is that the steering feels too digital, even if you use the joysticks. you press left or right gently, and you don;t get any movement, so you press it more, and it just flies to the right of left, with no subtlety like GP4 has.

you can see, going roung a corner, he goes wide, then has to steer a lot, then it suddenly kicks in and takes the car too far to the direction he steered, like there is a delayed reaction in the steering, or you have to steer so much before anything happens.

(who's the chesty bird on the 'yousendit' page???????)

Euuuuww. The person who is playing it says it's the most realsitic thing he's played, hahah. When braking, the car looks like it is being thrown forward as well on many ocassions in the video - is he being hit from behind by another car or is the game really that rediculous? Also, the turning just looks extremely arcadey and unrealistic to me to be honest. Could just be how he is driving it but even so. The only thing that has impressed me about this game was the damage seen in an earlier video.

Yeah, how can someone that drives that badly say it drives realistically?! Surely if he'd driven an F1 car to compare it to, he wouldn't be that bad in the game?

This is being confused by some with the F1 games for the PS3. This is the one with those really dodgy tracks, like the tunnel at Monaco looks like some brand new Airport terminal!

Ive seen the PS3 shots, and the car models alone look REALLY dodgy.

The PS3 one looks great IMO (except a few dodgy car models), but then when you see the movies, it's shite. Still a lot better than this PS2 one though I think.

oh yeah, i forgot to mention 1 feature.

if you have an eyetoy, you can take a pic of your face, and put it into the game for which ever team you are driving for, and if you get a podium, you can see yourself celebrating with the champagne.

probably the best thing about the game.

Graphics look sweet.
Sounds dreadfull.
Since when does the t-cam move back the faster the car goes?????
Vibration is superb though.
His driving it appauling.
Physics are terrible. In reality he would have spun at every corner on his laps.

The only high point really is the graphics and vibration in t-cam.

Since when does the T-cam view vibrate? Only time it has ever done that is when Kimi flatspotted his tire.

Seems like they're trying to give the motion blur feeling of MotoGP2. And the graphics when you're running it don't seem as horrible as they are when you look at pictures. But those tyres are dreadful!
The engine sounded nice though, but another game we can go on without...
