just one question:

is it possible to learn to drive the cat in 2 days (I'm so stupid that I'm downloading the game atm., because I didn't notice that there is a new alpha version)?

edit: we are talking about free alpha version, not the whole game, right?

why is it then called alpha? isn't that similar to beta version?

well fairly obviously an alpha version comes before a beta version, you pay for it because it is a fully featured product you're basically paying for the full release version once its finished but getting it early.

Yes, it means its unfinished. Doesnt mean you dont have to pay for it.

I don't know why your parents are worried about using there card on the net. The devs wont get your card details at all it goes through a specifc company who deal with credit cards. Its safer than buying something in a shop as the shop keep a copy of the recipt meaning they have all your card details the only thing the person behind the desk would need to remember to go on a shopping spree with your card details is that 4 digit code thing on the back. As Dave said they take pay pal too but you have to wait longer while the dev Victor processes it which I think takes a couple of hours depending if you catch him online.

when I originally used paypal for my S1 license I think it took till the next day, when upgrading to s2 it was instant though.

my brother just gave me his credit card. its safe as its all done through protx which is a company that deals with online transactions. no one sees your credit card number.

Good luck learning to drive the car in 2 days if you do get it. i can drive competitively on the oval in the F08 but thats because its flat out Its the slow hairpins which are getting to me. There is no grip and you have to be ultra sensitive on the throttle.

heh then your setup sucks, in the 3 slow corners i can pretty much mash the throttle as soon as i can...

There will be a few of us on tonight practicing, would be nice to be able to do an "official" practice session. Say, 3 hours long... come and go as you please. We can slap 3 1 hour long qually sessions together so we get standings. Or maybe just 2 seperate 1 hour long sessions? We could post the results on here. Whos up for it?
