It's SNOWING! :)

...In Dundee! For the first time this winter!

Anyone who lives in Dundee(Scotland) or the surrounding area will know how rare that actually is, since Dundee has a micro-climate of its own which means it just rains here even when it's snowing everywhere else. I'd say we get maybe 1-2 days on average each winter when it snows here, and even then it rarely settles. And this seems to be settling whenever it falls...

Is it snowing where anyone else is? The UK(and, to an extent, all of Europe) is supposed to be getting plenty of it over the next week or so.

we had some in Nottingham a few hours a go ( its very rare we get snow as we live in Erewash vally) so we always miss out on the really bad weather etc, few miles up the road they really get it bad

Yes it's absolutely white all around Sneek (Friesland, Netherlands), Fun to see all these cars trying to drive but are stuck in the snow Also our dog nearly drowned in it ^^ Like Byron said around 40cm, it finally stopped snowing now but I;m sure we'll get some more!

if we get more than 5cm, Britain will turn into utter chaos. its too salty down at the south coast, we won't get snow - just nasty ice winds from the sea, which are horribly bitter.

Snowstorms in the netherlands

It's snowing in Kent, UK

littlehampton west sussex, SNOW

lol my girlfriend is stuck at a random train station going back from brighton from a paramore concert due to bad weather and thick snow. mwahaha

Here we are hot, 30 °C

Since I live very close to the beach snow is a very rare thing here. Last time it snowed here was this past January but before that it was in 1986 and never saw any snow falling. The first time I was still to little to remember and in the second I didn't go outside that day. I only found out that it had snowed when a couple of friends living in Germany

Nevertheless, tonight it's freezing outside, 7ºC. I know for some of you in the northern regions of the world it's not that cold. But for a seaside town in the north of Portugal it is very cold. Actually it has been so cold these past few days that when it started raining the rain drops seemed frozen.

We got some icicles on our porch thing, were pretty cool, then we snapped some off and put then in out housemates bed, which was pretty comical

In central Poland, where I live, it's -10ºC right now. At night it drops to -13ºC.
I've just removed the snow from my parking space...and I got sweaty despite having only a T-shirt underneath the jacket. I hate winter.
