Once you begin downloading stuff for SimCity, you begin a spiral into madness. There are WAY too many awesome buildings and patches out there! :)

And Falcon 4, yeah, it's insane how difficult it is. I kinda mastered it well at one point, was able to handle all the radar and stuff on full realism, started a war and got to about day 4. I think, to play that game properly, you need to drop out of life for about a year. It is a truly jaw-dropping game though and I got Falcon 4.0: Allied Force which, incredibly, never crashed once on me, in stark contrast to the original.

*Self confessed Falcon fanatic

Wanna talk Falcon Lopper? ;)

You can't master that sim- I swear. There is no telling how many jets I've scattered around the DMZ and Pyongyang. Maybe if I didn't have a thing for SEAD Missions (Its strange, I suck at dodging missiles, but yet love the cat and mouse game). Once the Ruskis and Chinese come into play though, party's over- They bring those NASTY SA10's.

But yes, it takes some time to become competent on the most hardcore settings, but in all honesty, it's probably the most realistic simulation of a modern military aircraft available to the public. It makes it so satisfying to get the jet back in one piece.

Oh stop man! When you land the jet (and good lord, doesn't it take embarrasingly long to master that basic skill in the first place?) back at base in one piece it is an AWESOME feeling. The ground-to-air boyos are what always get me, that and MiG-25s for some reason - I don't think I ever got downed by one of those bad boys in your sig (gorgeous jet though). For about a year I did wars with an A-G base, loads and loads of missions to take out tanks and whatnot, I was actually good at it, but it was kinda boring. I finally went with an A-A base - I was reborn!! I'm deffo an A-A man, nothing better than a good sweep in the morning! :D

Did you get Allied Force? Gosh, I'm getting all tingly now just talking about Falcon! :)

Sure do!

I don't like to stick to one thing at once. To say I use the F16's multirole capabilities to it's fullest would be quite true. My loadout usually consists of 120's on the wing, a HARM on the outer HP, and various bombs elsewhere. Basically, on the way in Blast any radars who dare shoot something at you with the HARMs, bomb the crap out of the main target, and then fight your way out once you stirred the hornets nest ;) Then again, I usually either take SEAD missions or Strikes. I love me some good ole LGB.

I found A-A to be quite boring for me. Switch the MFD to TWS Mode, anything running nose hot on me scroll to, hit the Q key (IIRC), option 2, Declare. Contact confirmed Hostile, plug a 120 into their faces next to silently. While the Russian missiles (R77) may have longer legs than the 120, its much more spoffable. Always use TWS and get a soft lock on em. Every now and then, using a 120 in a dogfight (Boresighted Maddog shot) is great fun. Partly because it'll either hit the enemy or a friendly, and getting court martial-ed is a part of Falcon ;)

I hate the Mig25's. I find they have a tendency to boom and zoom, launching from WAY beyond range of your missiles. In that case, use the cheat and take a F14 with some Phoenix missiles onboard.... Fight fire with fire!

Ohhhhh crap, Im rambling again...

I borrowed SimCity 4 off a friend when it came out and loved it. I bought SimCity 3000 the other day which was pretty cool, still fun to play even tho it's old. I like the music in the games too, bit different to most games, bit like how GT uses jazz in the menu's :P.

I'm playing FIFA 09 on the PS3 a lot, I do 2 player manager mode with my bro - it's quite fun when there's a bit of teamwork involved. I like the online modes where you control a player but in most of the matches I've played everybody wants to be a striker, so you get people controlling Maldini and just staying upfront...but in an offside position so you can't even pass it to them!

I made my own team/kit/badge for Fifa Manager 09 but I've got bored now I'm actually playing the games, I just enjoy designing kits lol.

Joined Quake Live last week, not much of a Ego-Shooter-Fan, but it's nice for distraction.

Vader, I also dip into my SNES collection from time to time. :) Who remembers Exhaust Heat?

Most of my SNES games are RPGs though, like Zelda, Final Fantasy and Lufia.
