Scientists discover monster star

[edition.cnn.com]

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
The newly detected star is 10 million times brighter than the sun
Its birth weight was 320 times the sun
Unlike humans, stars are born heavy and lose weight as they get older
A team of astronomers used a sophisticated telescope in Chile

------------------------------------------

discovering the heaviest star known is not that "breaking news" as i supposed there's always going to be a bigger one, what really cought my attention is that Scientist assured in the past that the heaviest a star can be was 150 times the mass of our sun... this one has 300 and apparently it was 320 when it was born... it pretty much broke every law of physics they had

kinda backtracks humanity's sense of knowing what's out there when it's managed until now to hide something that's 10 million times brighter than the sun

Really? I've been curious ever since I read about it, is it bigger than VY Canis Majoris??... For those who wonder VY Canis Majoris's diameter is as big as the whole solar system... Traveling aty speed of light could take as much as a day to get around... If this is bigger... WOW!!! No words!
