Yeah the 2nd one is my new desktop and phone background... I love it, not usually a Ferrari road car fan (except for the Enzo and F50) but this hits the spot!

They are all over Auto Industry websites.

Anyway, it's just an MR2 with a prancing horse.

Am I the only one who thinks it's quite pretty :-o

No more of this silly right angles look of the F430, instead back to the lovely Italian curves!

I don't dislike it, but it doesn't make me jump up and down with want either.

It doesn't for me neither, in fact, not many Ferrari's really do as I'd much rather have the inferior Aston Martin. As Clarkson said on his Supercar Showdown DVD, 'you don't buy an Aston Martin because it's the better car, you buy one because you want one.'

You realise they're not photos, right?

Not photos? They were on the Ferrari official media site under photos (in which no renders are allowed) and then removed after a few hours. No doubt they will reappear on the site at some point (if they haven't already), but without a doubt, these are the first photos of the car.

From the side it has the same kind of shape as the F50. I like it. Its all over this months Top Gear Magazine which came out yesterday so I would guess they have released photos.

I like it. Looks simple and like how normal road cars should be from Ferrari. Fair enough it doesn't look good at first glance, i still like it for its simplicity. Hope its cheap :p

I'm fairly sure the 2nd one isn't a photo. The first could be, but some of the light reflections look pasted on and don't correspond to the rest of the lighting.

If they are photos then the car itself has been very, very heavily edited, making it look plasticy and almost cartoony.

It doesn't look the the F50 in the slightest. The F50 is my favourite Ferrari.

This one looks quite pretty, but in a sportscar I'd get excited by something that isn't just "pretty", but something that looks like it's going 100mph when it's standing still.

I don't like the front of the car much, especially the gaping mouth. Always been a fan of the older Ferrari's, still take an Aston over a Ferrari any day though.

Just looks like its been edited into a Studio to me.

If they are renders, then I don't get what the fuss about the "Official Release" is, because there has been renders of this car out for months. There is even spy shots of it driving about Europe. Everyone assumed it was the new Ferrari Dino, and then Ferrari announced it was the new California and put a date on the official release of it.
