I forgot about last race...

The dropping rule still exists, doesn't it?

Not bothering to do it for 4 races may have been a mistake.

Grid Bids is back for 2009!

hopefully all the GPG group members from last year have another go, and we also get some more entrants. This site's group name is 'GPGames F1' (Group #29).

btw, for those who don't know the game, you choose drivers that you think will finish in the top 10. of course you can find much more detailed info on the site itself.

Ah gridbids! I knew something was missing from the pre-season! I had a horrible year last year, entered every race but ended up 106th overall. This year, things will be better. :)

also, for all those who forget rounds (you only need to look to the first two posts of this page for evidence of that ;)), a new rule this year is that if you miss a round, your tips from the previous round are carried over for up to 2 rounds. could be quite useful!

Teams are a bit mixed up...Apparently Rosberg's with Red Bull and Vettel's in the Williams.

The teams don't matter. Even if it said that Raikkonen was driving for Lotus it still wouldn't matter :P

Yeah...I mean would Kimi really be sober enough to know what he was driving anyway? ;)

Where does it say this thing about the new rule actually? Because there's a major hole in it in the sense that driver cost change from race to race...so you could purposely forget to make the picks for the next round so you could have driver picks that would be too expensive for the next one.

the new rule is still being debated in the forums (see the discuss link on the main page), but it has had a very positive response so far. you still couldn't go over 30, so probably drivers would be removed from your picks until it got below 30.

I'm playing again. Had it not been for the nightmare I had with the Monaco and Canadian Grand Prix last year, and forgetting to pick for another Grand Prix, I think I could have swiped second. I am definitely hopeful for this year...

Had the podium but bloody awful apart from that. Had Vettel, had Heidfeld, had both Ferraris, had Nakajima and for some unknown reason I chose Bourdais over Buemi. :(

Exact same thing for me. Although I lost trulli now due to the penalty
