@Morbid: The PWNED³ was ironic. ;-)

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10; indeed, it's a common requirement in fairy tales. If the human didn't have to overcome huge odds, what would be the point? Terry Pratchett - The Science Of Discworld

It's high time this thread had the name changed to "Equations with 4 variables" or something. ;)

Um dois três quatro cinco seis sete oito nove dez
Eins zwei drei vier fünf sechs sieben acht neun zehn
One two three four five six seven eight nine ten
Один два три четыре пять шесть семь восемь девять десять

Now, of course, we are missing the original HUGE error -

ROFL² = ROFLL......

So pretty much the entire argument was based on a mathematical error ;)

That depends on what you mean with ROFL². You can say ROFL² = ROFL x ROFL
But ROFL² = ROFLL is impossible as you can but those two together. It would become ROFxL²

No, (ROFL)² = (ROFL)(ROFL) = ROFL x ROFL = RROOFFLL,

Whereas ROFL² = R x O x F x L², or ROFLL,

Unless ROFL is an actual variable, rather than R x O x F x L

and Mortal, I like to think of it less as cocky hybris, and more as good-natured bonhomie ;)

I'd rather see ROFL as an actual variable than RxOxFxL, as it's more R+O+F+L.

Is this still going on, in the 3rd page?!

Has anyone even commented on the first post??

∞(ROFL³)³. So there. Might as well stick a +1 there too while I'm at it before anyone else does.

Damn. Got me started now.

No problemo dude. It is all part of the aformentioned good-natured bonhomie (I confess I had to use a dictionary on that one)!
