it's all just rumours. today they're even saying Johnny Depp could be cast as The Riddler for the next movie. but i don't think Chris Nolan would cast either of them, they're too "high profile" for his liking.
personally i wouldn't want either of them.

i know there were some "big" actors in the Batman movies so far (Caine, Freeman et al), but what i mean is if you had someone like Tom Cruise in a movie, all you see is Tom Cruise, you don't see the character he is playing. you'd just be like "oh, it's Angelina Jolie/Johhny Depp", you wouldn't see Riddler or Catwoman necessarily.

i know there were some "big" actors in the Batman movies so far (Caine, Freeman et al), but what i mean is if you had someone like Tom Cruise in a movie, all you see is Tom Cruise, you don't see the character he is playing. you'd just be like "oh, it's Angelina Jolie/Johhny Depp", you wouldn't see Riddler or Catwoman necessarily.

Police in Michigan have arrested a 20-year-old man who they say tried to steal posters and other movie memorabilia related to the new Batman movie from a cinema lobby while dressed up as The Joker.
Spencer Taylor stunned cinema staff when he reportedly attempted to rip-down posters outside a screening of The Dark Knight at the Three Rivers 6 theatre.
Detective Mike Mohney told Michigan website Freep.com that officers were called to the cinema and found staff restraining a man dressed in a purple suit, a green wig and face-paint resembling the late Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the caped crusader’s nemesis.
Taylor was made to pose for police mugshots both in and out of costume.
He was charged with larceny and malicious destruction of property and is scheduled to appear at St. Joseph County District Court on August 5.

The same thing could be said about Freeman,Caine,Bale or Liam Neeson tbh

hei guys, Morgan Freeman suffered a car huge crash and is @ hospital atm.
but thank god everything is okay with him! he even made jokes with the rescue guys and the doctors that's a good signal!

I just managed to watch the movie as it came out yesterday here in Hungary. To be honest I have to say this was awesome, best movie in the recent years, and one of the best so far I've ever seen.
Ledger's Joker is seriously without any doubt is among the best performances ever.
I'll soon watch it again because it's well worth the ticket
