About Andy, us and Alpha

Okay well I'm pretty sure most of you will know what this is about.
Jon, Andy, Kudoz, Vader and I were the main participants in a conversation tonight about Andy, his alpha mates and our GPL races. Things have been blown well out of proportion, and Andy really is the middle-man taking all the un-neccessary flak.
As we discussed, there was always going to be an initial divide between us, and anything that was remotely offensive was going to be exaggerrated. As we (gpgames.de forum) saw the first initial spark, we reacted quickly and retreated. This then gave the wrong impression to the alpha guys, who were a bit off the next time we raced with them.
The point is, even though this doesn't mean we have to race with them now, it's all about getting to know some more people all over again. Don't think I'm defecting or anything, because this isn't about defecting, this is just keeping more of an open mind. We have to stop thinking about them as products of the hated Alpha forums too, because they have their own opinions and views too.
Lets just try to keep things cool, and espcially with Andy, because he is the last person to blame in all this really. He hasn't done anything wrong here, and yet we are automatically excluding him from our community and values.
