Hope you can spot the hints without me spelling it out loud.

sasjag, jagass, sim?

What about SimYak? You are a Nepalese and you live somehwere in the Hymalayas. You have a Yak that you must take care for and feed. If you do it right it will grow and maybe even mate. If not it dies. Okay, that sounds a little bit like tamagotchi, but it is really different. It is no Pokemon-like creature, offspring of a weird Japanese mind and of highly suspicious aesthetics, but a real Yak that you have to simulate, hene the name SimYak.

Unfortunately SimYak has no internet support and only 2001 textures. Once the SDI guys have released YakPatch you can mod the Yak to 2003 standards.
