16th place. Not so bad. Looking forward to the test drivers race. :-)

First podium: S8 Australian GP - 3rd at Testers sprint race
Update from me!

Still no intertube at home, when they went to connect it up they freaked out when they found out how much it was...hmmmmm, it's all good when someone else is paying for it eh what! LOL, revenge is sweet.

Also, I'm confirming that SCR will race in Season 8.

SCR. I'd like to thanks Mortal who welcome me in is team for season 8 and give me the opportunity to make my debut in the league.

You knucklehead, too busy robbing banks with your Cosa Nostra friends to include: "as a testdriver" ???

Oh btw, welcome to the team (A)

An announcement about my race line-up will come later on in this racer weekend.

Guys, I'm having problems with ImageShack again! Seems I have to stump up some money to continue uploading pics, well fook that for a lark! Anyone know any decent image sites, I know some of you have already mentioned some, but I am getting a little forgetful in my old age lol TIA!

I like Photobucket, Tinypic is also an option, but I'm not sure if you can upload multiple pictures at one time.

I usually use photobucket.

imgbox.com. Works quite well. Only hint I have to give you is: Create a new gallery for every session. Otherwise it's nearly impossible to sort pictures.

I used imgbox for the last race, it's quick and simple :)

What I did was upload the pictures and save the list of links onto a Word document. Then used the links that corresponded to the pictures I wanted...

GPGSL: S6 - TafuroGP Tester (14th) /// S7 - ART Tester (6th) /// S8 - Demon Driver (13th) /// S9 - Demon/Snake Driver (13th) /// S10 - Snake Driver (???) ///]

I usually sort them before I upload them, lol. I create a new gallery per session and simply copy all the links in 'full size' mode to a word-file to include empty spaces between the pictures. That's the only disadvantage of imgbox. But all in all I'm satisfied with it.

Looking forward to my home race, hope it isnt as muddy this time. ;)

Testers Sprint Race

The crowd at Silverstone get an extra treat this weekend, the testers will have a sprint race!
There are some big team boosts as well so we could get a firework display later on, if not in this race, it could be in the main one.

MPR, TNR and AMR take up the first six grid slots with TNR's cans of whoop-ass filled to bursting.

And we're off and away.

Seems to be status quo coming out of Copse.

Into Becketts and Legge gets alongside Warrington.

As everyone charges down the Hangar Straight, we can see that Warrington has managed to hold off Legge.

Heading to Abbey and The first five are pulling away from Warrington.

Getting strung out by the time they reach Woodcote.

Paddock very breifly takes fastest lap, but Mills immediately beats it.

Here's the standings after the first lap.

Paddock takes the fastest lap again at the end of lap 2.

Further down the field the Snake drivers are fighting hard.

Gary Spencer runs wide at Copse.

Sevastian in his last outing for MPR is under pressure from Ingers.

The AMR boss sticks his nose in.

Back to Mills in 2nd and we can see that Paddock is pulling away in 1st.

New testing champion Kederer is just inside the points.

The two Snake boys are still close together.

Warrington has a slight moment at Copse.

Van Smirren in 16th.

Six lap to go and half distance.

Edwards has caught Ingers.

But it seems its because Ingers had an attempt to pass Sevastian thwarted, he is soon on the gearbox of the MPR.

Another attempt into Stow corner.

And the cameras cut away!

McGregor takes McCarthy for 13th

The Snake pair are fighting once again.

Steer passes Stoddart.

Mills is still in 2nd.

McGregor now challenging for 12th.

Everything seems under control at the front for Paddock.

Davies goes an off-track excursion.

Last lap.

Dan Paddock - Martini Paddock Racing win the Silverstone Sprint Race.

Dan Mills - True North Racing - 2nd.

Andrei Sevastian - Martini Paddock Racing - 3rd.

Stay tuned for the official results.

Well i believed i finished 11th which is pretty nice, means ive finished in the points for atleast one session in all 3 races i've done with snake ;).
Apologies to mal for stealing one of his tester points near the end, but as andrei was up in 3rd i thought he wouldn't mind. Still grabbed himself 1 point i believe with 12th.

Bring on qualifying, need a good base for the race!

What a way to end my time racing in the GPGSL. It's been seven long seasons but I'm definitely ready to hang up my helmet after that performance. Was a great feeling to win in font of the home crowd. Really looking forward to see what Charrel and John can manage in quali and the race now.

Fantastic race for Andrei too, he really deserves a race seat somewhere. Guys snap him up :)
