hehehe classic command from the legendary Grand Prix Manager :)
GPGSL British Grand Prix - Silverstone

Testers Sprint Race Qualifying

Now @#$%&...this testers qualifying result looks very promising! And although MPR has the second best team perf here, I'm surprised that we were able to beat TNR two times! Go on like this guys! And let's hope that the main event will bring similar results!

Need the best race of my life if I'm to have any chance of getting 5th in the TC. Let's not let the first two feature races at the start put me off, consulting a sports psychologist before might put me in the right mindset.

Hmm... I don't know Jake, you're only a couple of points behind me, and I'm going to need a really good start to get the jump on you, should be an interesting battle down to the first corner! Reasonably happy with 9th though, should set me up for a decent haul of points to finish the season off well! Gutted for the boss down in 17th however, but I'm sure he can work his way through the pack come race-day.

hmm, Scala boosting 2 bhp, I'm boosting myself as well. Could be a slightly better result than before.
Well that sucks ... for me.
SMS did quite allright

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

that result gets a tick, narrowly. :P

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
Phew!! Looked like a mystery illness might have kept me from taking part this weekend, but clearly the prescription drugs are working as to be on the edge of the top 10 is a really pleasing result.
I hope with a bit luck I can sneak a points result to pay back the faith the mighty Minardi team has shown in giving me a seat for these last few races.
Perfect start to my last event in the GPGSL :)

MPR Season 8 Announcement

Martini Paddock Racing are excited to announce their driver line-up for Season 8 of the GPGSL.

#5 Charrel Jalving (Charrel)
#6 Jack Hunsley (Twigster151)
TD1 #28 Monil Santilal (Monza972)
TD2 #29 Gareth McCarthy (gareth)

As can be seen Jack Hunsley will move from MAC Racing to partner Dutch superstar Charrel Jalving, while Monil Santilal returns to the team in a test role alongside Gareth McCarthy, who recently joined the series with VSM/Minardi

Here is a short Q&A between GPGSLTV and MPR Team Boss Dan Paddock regarding his teams announcement earlier today.

GPGSLTV: Dan, how do you feel about the signings you have made for Season 8? What made you decide on these particular drivers?

"I'm extremely pleased to welcome both Jack and Gareth to the team for Season 8. I think that these guys both represent a really bright future for the team. The negotiations were quite simple and Jack initially signed as a testdriver. However following John Mavericks departure I thought it only right to promote Jack to a race seat. Resigning Charrel was an easy decision, he has been with the team for two seasons and we saw no reason to break our partnership. Gareth was a case of wanting to introduce new blood into the series, while Monil is simply an old friend who was looking to rejoin the GPGSL."

GPGSLTV: Jack Hunsley steps up from MAC Racing to MPR after just one season as a race driver. Is he ready for the challenge?

"Certainly, I believe that Jack will flourish under the opportunity he has been given. It isn't everyday you get the chance to step into a race seat with a top team, so he has to make the most of this opportunity. Charrel was not considered a top driver before he joined MPR but since then has gone on to become an integral part of the team. I can see Jack doing exactly the same."

GPGSLTV: How do you feel regarding next season? What do you think Season 8 holds for the team, and the GPGSL in general?

"Yes, I'm certainly excited for Season 8, we have a fresh new line-up and I'm really looking forward to working with the lads as the season progresses. I think we can look forward to another strong season. Top 3 once again is the aim but I would love to see us go better. I think you would be silly to bet against Aston Martin. I am interested to see how TSS go with the new direction. We changed our livery once and it didn't do us much good."

GPGSLTV: Are you pleased to be working with Monil Santilal once again?

"Yeah, it is great to have the opportunity to link up with Monil again. Once I heard he was getting tired of all the woman chasing him on his sabbatical from the series then I picked up the phone and offered him the drive. It is cool to have him back, he was always a very popular member of the team and we were all sad to see him leave at the end of Season 6."

GPGSLTV: How did the signing of the Australian rookie Gareth McCarthy come about?

"Well, the deal with Gareth was actually worked out earlier this season. I offered him a place at the team, however due to certain circumstances I couldn't give him a drive right away. Therefore, I spoke to Rico who offered him a couple of test outings for Minardi. I think it is great to get new guys involved in the series, so that was my main reason for offering him a place in the team for Season 8."

GPGSLTV: Why is it that the young Tibetan driver Andrei Sevastian will not continue with MPR for Season 8?

"Andrei has had a really impressive season so far. Unfortunately he is just not part of the MPR plan for Season 8. However, I am sure he will be picked up by a team for Season 8, both Minardi and Snake have seats available and I could see him doing well at both those teams. It certainly isn't anything personal, it is just the way it goes sometimes. I certainly wish him all the best in the future."

WOW, that is a surprise! I guessed Monil would drive for the team but didn't guess Jack would get the race seat...congrats to him!

Meh. I dont suppose 13th is too bad, I can push for points and hopefully finish this season off on a high.
How did that season go so quickly? Yes it started 8 months ago but still...

There were rumours in the pits that Tibetan driver Andrei Sevastian was on fire.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Hi all,

I'm following the GPGSL league since a few months now and I took a great pleasure to read all of your posts here.
I would like to join your league for the next season if you think it's possible and if there is some place for me as a test driver, so if there is some team manager with a vacant seat interested by my proposal, I would be very happy to race for him for the next season.

I also want to enter a team in the waiting list if it's possible.
