GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

This promotion means we do of course now have a space on our driver development program. Former graduates include Season 4 Test Driver's Champion Zsigmond Somogyi, Season 5 Test Driver's Champion Ben Johnson, current Driver's Championship contender Ruben Greidanus and of course current Test Driver's Championship leader Tobias Kederer. We're looking for any driver that would like to become champion in the future, no matter experience, to join our team. I like to keep all my driver's involved in team development and this will especially be the case as we enter a new era as Team Shadow Mercedes. If you're willing to let us develop you for a season, we promise to turn you into the next best race driver.

The bad thing that I get the first place in S4 and the second place in S6 in testers championship, but always followed by a horrible season. in this year, I Started with the 6th best performance data, if I remember correctly, but i was unlucky and always crashing...

Ah yeah, of course - gotta have a C at most in GCSE English. And that's only because of the A* when it comes to writing fiction ;)

Love the magazine, looks absolutely brilliant - even if it looks more like a tabloid newspaper more than a magazine :)

I do believe the next issue of the magazine will have a scoop on SCR. :-)

haha! Loving that edition of 'On The Limit'! Good job matey.

Now, not that I'm one to ever fuel the rumour mill but, you do appear to have missed out one possibility for the other TSM seat - What if it's neither Ruben nor Marko :-O

Whatever, the situation though, I've been really open with all my current drivers about next season and hopefully everyone is happy with the current arrangements which are already in place :)

love the magazine part :)

I can help with the texts whenever it's needed. I've recently recieved my Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge and I kind of want to use it, hehehe ;-)

The reason I didn't do English is that my school/college only did A-Level Literature. I didn't want to be there for 2 years writing lengthy essays on why Keates wrote this and Shakespeare wrote that because quite frankly, I'd die of boredom. (I'm still told that I should have taken it though...)

I totally understand you Jake. I'm studying English (both Literature and Linguistics) now at University only to become a teacher later. Lots of what I'm learning there will be totally useless later and in fact I'm not really into it. Yet I will have to write my B.A. thesis now about Shakespeare. At least I could encourage my professor to allow me compare film-adaptations to the plays, but it's still a bunch of crap to do.

@Stu
I'm sorry. I said I could run the test session today, but then somebody else (don't remember but I think it was Chris) said he could do it, so I didn't ask for the mod. Apologies mate that now it's again up to you to run it.

And that's fair enough - it'd bore me senseless (I wouldn't want to be a journalist).

To be fair, I was being sarcastic - 'journalists' (or at least tabloid journalists) may as well need no qualifications at all for the amount of idiocy you can find in some newspapers ;)

Ah I forgot you said you would do it. I don't remember Chris saying he would though lol. Anyway it's run now :)

Hey I want to be a journalist. Actually applying to study it next year at Masters level.

Certainly not a tabloid journalist though ;)

If you want anybody to write some stuff for the magazine, then hit me up in a couple of weeks

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
You don't need to do an english A level to do journalism, i do a form of it (albeit very poor ;)) on a website. There's a chance for you yet jake ;-)

Both john and dan are crazy for doing english at university level, i thought maths was bad enough ;). Anyway congratulations to both of you :)

Team Shadow Subaru Announcement

As Team Shadow prepares themselves for Season 8, I would like to announce that we have signed Joshua Copeman to our Driver Development Program. Brother of Christel VXR team boss, Chris, Josh stated he "Can't wait to get started and am looking forward to my first session". It is hoped that Josh shall replace Tom Pellatt as the team's second test driver from the Oceanic Grand Prix at Philip Island.

The Shadow Team Principal commented; ''We're really glad to sign another enthusiastic young talent to Team Shadow's Driver Development Program. The fact that Josh is able to step into the team straight away will also help me as I'll be able to focus on getting everything ready for Season 8 without being distracted by my testing duties. If he does a good job over the remainder of the season then he should do really well in competing for the Test Driver's Title next season''.

Many many changes! Looks like this is going to be the silly season indeed! I think I will just do what I do best ;)
