[POLL] How do you race in GP4?

How do you race in GP4? Do you play as yourself or do you have a favourite driver? Season or quickrace? I think it would be fun to share...

Since I started the thread, I go first:

- I play as myself, using personal helmet
- Championship, 100% race distance.
- Realistic weather conditions.
- Ace Level.
- Keyboard.
Ive been playing as realistically as I can (no restarts, if I crash its a DNF. I dont save and return). I debuted in F1 in 2001. Been World Champion in 2003 and 2006 with Mclaren and 2007, 2008, 2010 with ferrari.

Who is next?

- I play non championship races (10%) ;
- mostly fictional tracks;
- 2-3 championships per year (don't have much time for gaming);
- realistic weather, keyboard , rookie level (with upgraded performance file).

Using a fictional championship (fictional cars and teams) old F1 drivers
Fictional tracks or non-f1 tracks
55% races, using non-championship race (yes, I do calculate the points standings by myself)
Since the drivers for some reason don't change to wet weather tyres, I only use sunny weather
pro level

Playing game since 2003...

Play only Quick Races of Late.. (5%) Rookie.. Use Keyboard.. Dry Conditions.. Any track..

Do a lot of Game Graphics, HUD, TV Overlay and MOD testing...

2001 World Champion in Full Dry and Wet Conditions (All 17 Races) Amateur Level..

Here is my style in GP4:
-Playing 2009 FSone mod for GP4 (thanks RSCT team for great mod).
-Play with Logitech Momo Racing Wheel.
-Only play Non-championship race.
-30% race distance.
-Semi-pro level
-Skip qualifying to start at the back in race day (because i like pass AI car).
-Only play with dry weather.
Do you often skip qualifying section?

I usually race the qualifying, but since I play in Ace level the AI cars are much harder to pass...

100% Race distances,
Full F1 Calendar (with a track change here and there.... Valencia was replaced by Magny Cours this year....)
Ace level
Keyboard
Driver ratings set to replicate real world results as best I can.....
Have raced for either Williams, Mclaren or Red Bull (since Webber got there....)

When I'm driving, I play with Kimi (06-09 seasons), Schumi (2005) or Schumi jr. (2003-2004)
Logitech Momo, dry weather, Ace (strongest in performance files got - 16800,768,17000,768 - there is no place for mistakes and almost unreal win on some tracks, for me) & 100% race distance. Going to drive full 2009 season with Kimi and FSone 2009 mod

I usually race championships with my brother ( we both take 3-4 different drivers and AI race with others)
and then I race quickraces and championships from past seasons

at the moment, I race in championship 50% length races, ace on the keyboard.

I started in 95 went through to 98, then I went back to 91, then 06, and now 82 and then 83 (with no traction control). I think FSOne 09 is next, and then 08

I usually use the Quickrace or occasionally the non-championship option for races with T-cam view and I race as myself in a JPS Lotus car livery - so I could get Senna into the game as my team mate! I've left HRT and Toro Rosso out of my game and I've replaced A1-ring, Imola, Magny Cours, Hockenheim and Indianapolis with China, Turkey, Valencia, Singapore and Abu Dhabi

Why leave two teams out?

I bought the game a few months ago, the style I play is the same as in GP3:

-I choose a driver who didn't win the wdc in the year I play
-100% race distance, realistic weather conditions
-non-championship races, I calculate the points by myself
-semi-pro or pro level, with a gamepad (a very old one, either 100% throttle or 0%, same for brakes)
-driver changes during the season are included (except I choose a driver who was replaced)

I've finished two seasons till now: 1994 champion with Senna, 2003 2nd with Montoya (I lost the title in the last 2 races, electronic problems in Indianapolis throw me back from p1 to p4 and a DNF in Suzuka after a driving mistake)

10 % Race distance, Championship season... generalyy with my favourite team Eilliams, all the years, BUT now with Piquet in 1984 in the Brabham...generally pro level or in some case Ace....and with a friend all the years both with Williams (Example: Mansell and Patrese, Damon and Coulthard), but always with a real driver and real weather, Qualify session 35min

i do about 10-15laps max on a race which is 100% duration normally.
i have too many bugs to play properly. for some reason the tracks in the trackpack 2007 from tonys site dont give enough grip and i spin everywhere. i guess the magic data needs changing but dont have time with work stuff to start messing too much with the game

Well there's space for 11 teams in GP4 and I have a JPS Lotus team taking one slot - 2011 F1 grid has 12 teams!

Level 4/5
Lap Race between 18-23 laps and 1pit for all the cars
30 minutes for free practice
15 minutes for qualy (all 22 cars in track)
realistic weather
