Honestly there is not really a sequence for building a car everybody build them differently.
I start with a cube and from there I start extruding and blocking out the shape where as someone else might start with the nose.
And I haven't seen a decent tutorial for F1 cars yet. With practice comes art and I have seen a lot of beautiful cars here this community has a quite the master builders actually some better then the pros make.
Some advice start up any 3D program and start practicing and post it on the forum there is enough guys and gals that will give you good advice. Don't let this be a let down cause I welcome any new car shaper the more the better cars we will see.
I hope this will help you.

Sincerely
Michael
