Setup is so important here in Mexico! It's taken me ages to find a decent balance. Got there though ;)

Wow Tom, that's a time...
But still 21 hrs to go and after 10hrs of work I'll spend the evening in my racing seat ;-)

Keep on racing guys!

By the way, Tom, will there be a Competition after this?
Would be great if we could have each track in the competition at the same week when the Grand Prix is held there...

Bloody hell Tom, that's a ripper of a lap, and I reckon it's got me me beat; I just cannot find that time I'm losing in the last sector.

Good racing thus far everyone!

Yeh, balls out in the last sector of that one, I knew I was a fraction up on you coming out of sector 2 so I went for it!

@Cosmic - yes I have thought about doing a "real life" season of the GP4CC, it's a good idea, maybe a bit long though? Also unfortunately I don't have permissions for some circuits, but maybe we can work around it...

Tom, permissions is what we should ask for...if we have a list which tracks are missing I could mail to those People...

Ok, maybe not all the tracks, but we could make a poll to vote for tracks. Maybe 10 - 15 tracks?!

01. Australia / Melbourne 15.03.
02. Malaysia / Sepang 29.03.
03. China / Schanghai 12.04.
04. Bahrain / Sachir 19.04.
05. Spain / Barcelona 10.05.
06. Monaco / Monte Carlo 24.05.
07. Canada / Montreal 07.06.
08. Austria / Spielberg 21.06.
09. UK / Silverstone 05.07.
10. Germany / Hockenheim 19.07.
11. Hungary / Budapest 26.07.
12. Belgium / Spa-Francorchamps 23.08.
13. Italy / Monza 06.09.
14. Singapure / Singapur 20.09.
15. Japan / Suzuka 27.09.
16. Russia / Sotschi 11.10.
17. USA / Austin 25.10.
18. Mexiko / Mexiko-City 01.11.
19. Brasil / Sao Paulo 15.11.
20. Abu Dhabi / Abu Dhabi 29.11.

Maybe we could race 1 track/month. So we would have 9 tracks.
So for March we can decide between Melbourne and Sepang,
for April between Shanghai and Sachir
for May between Barcelona and Monaco
for June between Montreal and Spielberg
for July between Silverstone, Hockenheim and Hungaroring,
for August Spa is fix ;-) as it is the only GP in August,
for September between Monza, Singapore and Suzuka,
for October between Sochi and Austin
and for November between Mexico, Brasil and Abu Dhabi.

The tracks underlined are available on your site. So I guess you have the permission...only Montreal/Spielberg are missing to have it complete ;-)
Or we take tracks from the Original GP4-Game...

What do you think, competitors?

Grats to Tom and Monty & Doug who fill the Podium!!!

Tried it for hours last night but in every single lap I tried to beat my own time one sector was frustrating me again and again...

Better luck in Korea :-)

Have a nice Weekend!

Good round everyone, Korea is gonna be some good fun!

Also, Tom, I think Monty should be ahead of me on the leaderboard by dint of having scored his 2nd place before me?

Well driven everyone!

To be honest Doug my code doesn't work out who should be ahead if the points are even, it's just random, I figured that by the end of a season it was unlikely anyone would have equal points so I kept it simple! It will resolve itself after Korea.

Tom, with a fuel weight of 12it should be hard for you to win even in Korea and score a Hattrick ;-)

But I've never driven this track before so I have to spend hours to train...

Tom, what physics file RPM setting do your 2012 and 2013 mods use? 18,000 rpm? I'm trying to change the sound and the sounds I want work best with 18000 rpm and wondered if I need to edit this using physics editor or not?

Thanks

16750 rpm. It's not accurate but it works well with the default sounds. Maybe Briere or someone could modify the engine text files to make them fit my mods?

Thanks Tom, if I change the RPM to make the sounds better, by editing the max RPM in physics editor, what will it effect in the mod?

The power will be unrealistically high, the fuel consumption will be too high also. And the car's will hit the rev limiter on the straights unless you change the final drive.

Looks like I need to learn how to edit engine text files!!

If someone can make me an engine text file that makes the default sounds normal at 18000rpm I'd be happy to change my mod's physics.

This should be no Problem as there's a thread now where Briere explained how to do...

Shall I try? Could do this next week during work time ;-)

Yes please, would make so many great sounds compatable if the physics could be changed.

So I Need the links to the sounds at to what physics or RPM they should fit.
