Yes Congrats SM that was a cracking time (Y)

Thanks for the events Tom

Sakir was fun & harder than initially thought.
Track seems not complicated initially but had some traits that were not easy to
setup for me.

Hey I did have one odd thing I never experienced on tracks before & always in the same spot.
Last right hand turn before entering the finish straight

Three time my PC froze with the car engine sound wide open
Could not break out of it except with control/alt/delete to use
task master to kill GP4
Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks again for events
Appreciated

It seems like i (vimal ana) have two slots in the leaderboard. Can the admin please remove car number 19 for me please! :)

I will be using car 27 from now on words!

Sorry for the spam but the last corner is so tricky-.- the autosteering always throws me wide. Is it because i am travelling way to fast into that corner?

I fixed a bug that was causing the 'Download All Replays' not to work.

@brasspanels - I have changed your number to 27 as requested.

@flying - same thing happened to me a couple of times at one track last season, I think it was Boromo. Not sure what caused it, but make sure both your graphics and sound drivers are up-to-date. It hasn't happened to me again since I updated my nVidia drivers.

@jorge - see your PM :)

Hi, I have a doubt about this point "4.2 : Contact with barriers or other cars must not be used to gain an advantage." In this track I guess every contact with barriers you can gain an advantage, so in my opinion contact should be forbidden and it is very simple to check the lap. In audio settings set to 0 all the options and collision set to max, if you hear a noise the lap is invalid. What do you think about that?

About contact with barriers/walls @ Phoenix
Speaking just for myself....
I have never noted an advantage by even just touching a wall or barrier.
It scrubs off so much speed that I always toss the lap as it will be useless/non-competitive

To be honest I will be pretty lenient with regards to contact with the barriers for this one. I don't think it's possible to gain a huge amount of time, in fact it's more likely to slow you down.

Yeh it's correct. It is based on the US east coast timezone so it's likely some people are a few hours ahead of it.

Well done stefano86k for winning the first event of the season! Great to see so many participants again so thanks to everyone who submitted a lap. Next up, Italy... (Y)

PS: I had to smile that @ Phoenix the sponsor must be Iceberg
same as the fictitious drivers name I use :-)

Good driving everyone, especially the keyboard users; I can't fathom how you guys can do those 90 degree corners!

Unfortunately this was one of those tracks where I just couldn't find a rhythm.

Oh well........got a point out of it and am looking forward to the next round (Y)

These physics clearly are best for keyboard drivers.
Wheel drivers dont have any chance at all.

Oh I 100% disagree with that one ;-)

When Tom 1st released the 2014 laptop edition & said we had to use this physics file
I even asked him if he had tried it with a keyboard
because it is so hard with keys.

Took me a long time & many odd setups to come to grips with it.
I really did not like it at all at first as it was so hard on keys
especially with auto transmission.

Some think auto transmission is a benefit I think it is a handicap as I like engine braking.
Also consider having a throttle that is a all or nothing switch rather than a gas pedal.

With other physics file I am up to 2 seconds faster on average
So I cannot agree this is a best for keys physics file
I can say the more I use this one I do appreciate it as it has a more realistic drive/feel model in my opinion.

Harder but more realistic IMHO ;-)

I was champion in Season 1 so i think everyone knows that im a good driver.

I tried all events so far in season 2 and as i said wheel drivers dont have a chance.

So how dare you put my words in doubt and more when i was 3 times champion in other racing leagues.

Like i said these physics favor keyboard drivers because of the characteristics of braking so late.
Wheel drivers cant do that with these physics, the car tend to go sideways when attempting it.

I think auto transmision - auto gears should be banned at least to make more fair for the rest of the pack.
I also think that t-cam driving should be banned. Its not real.

Sorry you read it that way?
Those words were mine & not meant for your mouth

I do not care what or how you drive or have driven
I gave my opinion on what I think of this physics file

Look it is a game...None are knocking on any GP4 game players doors
with $$$ contracts to come drive a F1 car

Have fun or not....up 2 you
I play this sim for fun...I enjoy it

Sorry for any misunderstanding you may have over what I said
It was just my opinion ;-)
