Miss the old Silverstone layout? [RELEASE]

I hope I'm not the only one .

Unfortunately I haven't been able to finish this to the standard I was hoping, I have been so busy over the last few years with Uni - but it's all worth it since I graduate with a 1st in Computer Science next week :D...

However, I want everyone to be able to enjoy the circuit I spent so many hundreds of hours on. I realise it's not perfect, but if I kid myself that i'll release it when it's perfect it'll never be released, so please take this an "early beta release". I won't lie, I probably will not do any more work on the circuit. I've stopped playing GP4 altogether over the last few years, and F1 2010 now keeps me more than entertained in the F1 game department - we all know there's loads of stuff that's better in GP4 - but there's also loads better in F1 2010 too.

I for one miss the old layout, and hope my attempt to make it as great a place to race in GP4 as it was in real life lives up to expectations.

By all means, if people want to communally fix any issues they find, I'd be more than happy to review and update the package for all.

If anyone wants to take / upload some screens I'll add some here to show the state of the circuit in the download . Some screens of peoples favourite parts of the circuit might be fun to see too

You are not the lonely one. But Im cant play anyway, cuz' Im waiting my super-bombic-epic New CPU with newest videocard and other features...
So you need to wait little bit more time for any feedback!
PS OHHH MY GOD. VERY NICE SCREENSHOTS. and i remember one of your old topics, where ive seen it in 1st time. It was named as "My last work" or "Farwell comunity" or somethin' like that. It is very sad to lose such kind of advanced track-maker as you.

Thanks a million for this! Downloading as i type. Personally, I have always LOVED the "old" layout better, and probably would have done my 2011 race on the "old" 2009 layout. Your work has arrived just in time for the weekend, thanks heaps!!!

Answer: because the .wad is big - 121mb This is due to the high definition textures

Plus theres some extras i developed ages ago thrown in for good measure. Perhaps someone can make use of them.
