Silverstone 2011 Track Layout Pre Season Released

Mr. Kimi,

It´s possible to import elevations and track banking from standard silverstone dat file. This way new dat by you may match properly to original landscape profile.

Take a look at GP4Builder at Import Track database chapter. You can import TPosXXXX (which means dat sector Z values) and TBnkXXX (which means dat sector banking amount values) for remained silverstone track sectors.

Maybe I should try to create a tutorial just as the brillant ones by Paulo at F1 virtual blog


I tried this at my own beta, and it looks ok so far.

and rename within wad montreal2001 to silverstone 2001.

@ josekast: In order to rename a track for it to replace another one (such as montreal to silverstone), you have to open up the wad and rename a few files...

You have to rename all this files to silverstone2001.XXX

(in maps):
montreal2001.gp4
montreal2001.cfp

montreal2001_pitlane.bin
montreal2001_pitverge.bin

Then in samples:
montreal2001.crd
