GPGSL Season 6 Complete!

Posted by GPGSL
Great result for Zsigmond to put him back in the championship race. Solid finish got Tobi too

LOL, i guess its telling us we are able to do ANYTHING, which is better then saying we can do P21+P22...

Jack had a great entry to VSM this weekend 2nd place will surely make our respected MAC Racing teamboss wonder why he promoted Keeley.
For my own and Christel's pace im not happy, in fact i'm dissapointed...

"If in doubt, Flat out."
nice debut in the VSM for Hunsley :)

Lets hope that pace stays in the car for Quallie and Race! =)
Luckily I could improve my time with the last lap, otherwise it would have been a bad result. Congrats to Zsigmond for p1.

GPGSL South American Grand Prix

Qualifying

Welcome back to Jacrepagua circuit in Brazil for the qualifying session for the South American Grand Prix, Ernie B. Lemondrizzlecake reporting.

The drivers sit in their cars ready for action.

Glen Sheppard is first out on track.

And surprise surprise is first to set a time.

Worseling soon beats that time.

Former champ Oakley storms round the track to beat the first two drivers by quite some margin.

Snake's Karjalainen slips into 2nd.

Elleker is 3rd, but over six tenths adrift.

Silvestre close in 2nd.

Greenhalgh gets his setup right first time.

Horváth takes 4th place.

Maverick comes close to pole just 0.044 down on Greenhalgh.

Muller makes it two Christels in the top ten.

Top three less than a tenth apart as Houston takes 3rd spot.

First runs complete.

Sheppard moves up three to 17th.

Worseling takes back his 17th place.

Greidanus climbs five to 16th place.

12th place for Warrington.

Second round of runs done.

The track is beginning to get a little moist.

The weather is definitely getting worse.

Track conditions not good, as Greenhalgh proves as he crosses the line nearly three seconds slower.

Third runs gave us no improvements, but a dry line is now appearing.

Conditions off line are not very grippy.

Aleksander manages to get to grips with the changing conditions and moves up to 8th.

Johnson drives a blinder, moving up from last to 4th.

Warrington runs wide.

Losing a wheel!

Cartwright loses his front wing too.

Standings after four runs.

In spite of the falling rain Worseling improves his time.

Warrington also goes quicker, but doesn't move up the grid.

Worseling moves up two places to 18th on his fifth run.

Somehow and who knows how, Greidanus takes 12th in worsening conditions.

Stay tuned for the official results.

A very poor qualifying session for me. 21st position, with no boost.... Hmmm, gonna be a long race! Hopefully the rain comes, and others ahead fall over themselves, and I can at least get up into the points..... Not holding my breath..... Seriousoly got to work on this qualifying pace!!
Having said that, not overly surprised to be so far down the field, with the long straight and sweeping corners, the boost driven cars should all be ahead of me this weekend....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present

Well done julaino that's a great qualifying...we are beginning to move slowly forward I think. Jack was unlucky today but usually does really well from poor positions so here is hoping...
