Rod, you have mentioned this before, but Ruben has said he hasn't received your new helmet. Please send it to him, or to me and I can pass it on.

Very unpredictable free practice, good from Nick to manage 2nd! Not really happy with my own 12th place.

For qualy, good to see Tommy in the top 10! Nick had some bad luck with the tyres, he will gain in the race though!
Nice qualy for SCR as well :)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

I'd need a Kobayashi-style race ... maybe if it rains ...

It's always good to qualify well at Monza, as Turn 1 is quite a hazard

Have a look at the first post. There you'll see the teams with vacant test driver seats. Simply contact one of the teamowners and ask for a seat.

Yes, fourth time in a row I'm quickest at Monza (first 3 times was in practise)!

Hopefully Melbourne doesn't have a spell on me.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Huge congrats to Ruben! brilliant job so far this weekend. Solid start for Marko too so let's see what the race may bring :-)

Well, that was teribble... But at least our race can't go worse..

The race has been run and won. There were five retirements, two of which were mechanical in nature. I will sort, upload and post tomorrow night, as it's much too late to do it now.

Pretty average, made jubilant to see Matt Houston down the grid for once though! :P

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
Dan posts - world shocked

After a lenghty period of silence around TNR teamboss Dan Mills, he suddenly popped up in the paddock today. After being repeatedly told to stuff his cars somewhere deep after failing to submit them, he was seen walking down the paddock, albeit in a very careful manner. While he did have time to make some gossip magazine - which we don't see as a threat, we still pwn this @#$%& - he didn't have time to set up his cars properly which resulted in a 'pretty average' result.

Drivers and teambosses, no one had thought they'd ever see Andrea Sass... Dan Mills again. Quotes frequently heard were 'is that really him?', 'he should have a shave' and 'where is Wally?'. It is expected that Mills shows his face more often, although the bookies tend to disagree with 1:67 odds. Let's just keep our hopes up.

GPGSL Italian Grand Prix - Monza

Race Day

Welcome back to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix. The weather forecast for today was for rain, i's dry at the moment but the wet stuff is threatening.
All the drivers have lined up on the grid, so lets join the action.

Greidanus on pole.

And they are away.

Greenhalgh gets a bump from behind from Kittleson as the pole sitter slips back to fourth.

Oakley, Kittleson and Vilela take avoiding action and slip down the field.

Greenhalgh takes a short cut across the grass and hangs on to 4th as Hunsley takes the lead.

Cartwright passes Greenhalgh at the 2nd chicane. Jalving passes Greidanus.

Here comes the forecasted rain.

Elleker runs wide.

Warrington going for 6th at the Ascari chicane.

Runs wide in doing so.

Manages to hold on to 7th.

End of lap one, 1st Hunsley, 2nd Cartwright, 3rd Greenhalgh, 4th Jalving, 5th Greidanus.

Greidanus takes back 4th from Jalving.

Bit of a argy bargy and Hinz is forced wide and Houston takes to the air.

Horváth spins and Houston runs wide too.

A traffic jam ensues.

Both Horváth and Kittleson get tangled up.

Finally get going.

Silvestre tags Sheppard.

Then collects Muller.

Sheppard survives and Muller runs wide, but Silvestre spins.

Silvestre drops to 22nd.

Cartwright takes Hunsley for the lead.

Greenhalgh now challenging for 2nd.

Cartwright takes fastest lap.

Greenhalgh takes 2nd and Jalving re-takes 4th as Pedersen sets a new fastest lap.

Maverick locks up.

Worseling grabs 10th from Maverick.

Standings after 2 laps.

The battle for 3rd.

Jalving goes for 3rd.

Warrington again has trouble keeping his car on the dark strip.

Drops to 10th.

Maverick in trouble with a loose wheel.

The rain is starting to come down more steadily now.

Fastest lap to Cartwright.

Muller attempts a pass on Sheppard.

More rain yet Horváth goes faster.

Stay tuned!

The rain dance appears to have worked. Great start by Pederson too!
