Guys does this is F1 Manager 2000 game? I have 2009 mod for it(H)

The old classics will be always better than the newest games.
Mate, this is different. It's run off GP4.

Bahrain GP Race Day

Welcome to coverage of the inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix in Sahkir, it was Juan Pablo Montoya who kept Williams on top of the field in yesterdays qualifying session after taking pole position ahead of the Ferrari duo of Michael Schumacher and Jos Verstappen meanwhile current championship leader Rubens Barrichello will start from 8th

All drivers are now just waiting for the lights

The five lights are on…

… and we’re away and Montoya has an excellent start from pole

It looks as though the field are cleanly through turn 1

But Fisichella has got the jump on both Ferraris as we look back from Montoya’s Williams

The two Toyotas are battling it out into the final corner…

But all it does is put Villenueve under immense pressure from Barrichello as Montoya puts in the first fastest lap of the race.

Its close going into turn 1…

… and he manages to slide ahead of Villenueve but not Da Matta

Fisichella is still in 2nd place

Whilst at the back Wilson has somehow overtaken both Minardi’s

Montoya sets a new fastest lap as several drivers are looking to overtake into the final corner

But a Jaguar is off the track and it looks like McNish

Indeed it is, that will be the end of his race

It looks like contact between McNish and Raikkonen sent the Jaguar into a barrel roll

And indeed he retires from the race as we ride onboard with Ralf Schumacher in the BAR

Da Matta is in the points again as Montoya asserts his dominance

Meanwhile Barrichello has quietly made his way up into 5th place

But down the main straight Schumacher is side by side with the Renault of Fisichella

And the German is through into 2nd

Barrichello is really flying now that he has some space as he sets the new fastest lap

Lotterer gets his braking all wrong and he gets a smack from the BAR of Schumacher for his troubles

The Williams drivers are now just trading fastest laps…

Schumacher having another look at Lotterer down into turn 1

And he makes it stick

Meanwhile unseen by the cameras Verstappen has dropped a few places, promoting Barrichello into 3rd in the process

The lone Jaguar driver is having a fairly quiet race down in 9th place

Time for some standings

And Villenueve is off the road from 10th

Whilst his teammate is still occupying 7th place

Barrichello is side by side with Schumacher down the home stretch

And he’s through into 2nd to make it a Williams 1-2

But there’s a big accident in the middle sector between Heidfeld and Wirdheim

And I gets worse after Heidfeld spins back into the path of Raikkonen

Heidfelds day is definitely over, just hope he’s okay after that big crash

Meanwhile both Raikkonen and Wirdheim make it back to the pits for repairs

Barrichello is in the pit lane now…

Along with Schumacher

And the German has got back ahead of Barrichello in the stops

De la Rosa is off in the same place that Heidfeld lost it but luckily there is no one close by

Lotterer pits from 8th

He emerges 15th

Montoya is in the pit lane

And unsurprisingly he is still in the lead as he leaves the pit lane

Whilst Button is in the points once again in 8th

And Trulli pits from 14th

And comes out 16th, a better showing from the Arrows team

Webbers run wide at turn 5

But he manages to hold it and fend off Villenueve from behind

Here are the current standings

Wilson is under pressure from the Frentzen

And is through, as well as his teammate De la Rosa

Raikkonen becomes the latest driver to be lapped

Wirdheim is running well down the field after that tangle with Heidfeld

Button pits from 8th whilst Schumacher is still ahead of Barrichello

He rejoins in 14th

Verstappen is the first of the front runners to perform his second scheduled stop

He comes back out in 9th

Whilst Lotterer, Ralf Schumacher and the current leader Montoya take to the pit lane

Lotterer rejoins the pack as Schumacher takes the lead from Montoya in the background

The Colombian is now in 3rd

Villenueve is having a go at Verstappen

And the Canadian is through

His team mate is now in the pits from 6th place

And he’s back out in 9th

Schumacher pits from the lead

Which releases Barrichello into clear air, can he make the most of it?

Schumacher is back out 5th place

Wirdheim and Wilson tangle down into turn 1

And both go wide as a result

And Wilson so nearly wipes out Schumacher as he rejoins the track

Barrichello is now into the pitlane, has he done enough to jump Schumacher

Meanwhile Montoya retakes his lead and surely it is now his race to lose

And Barrichello rejoins the track as Schumacher crosses the start line in the background

He’ll be disappointed after that but at the moment the Ferrari does not have the pace of the Williams

After that final scheduled pitstop of the race, here are the standings

Frentzen runs wide and spins in the middle sector

And his teammate takes full advantage of his mistake as he moves up a place

Glock is having a very quiet race in the only remaining Sauber as he locks his brakes badly in 10th place

Whilst Trulli is having a very solid drive in the Arrows and is currently ahead of both Minardi’s

Barrichello sets a new fastest lap but is too far behind his teammate to mount a charge now

And again on the next lap

Whilst Coulthard, who has also had a quiet race,is in 4th place

And now for some reason GP4 decided not to save the remaining screenshots but I can confirm that the race was won by Juan Pablo Montoya with Rubens Barrichello in 2nd with Michael Schumacher completing the podium.

Arrows Statement

Arrows tonight are very happy after Bahrain. We have beaten our closest rivals Minardi thanks to Trulli. Wilson was unlucky but overall we are very happy with our drivers.

Great race coverage aswell Twigster
Jordan Statement

Good job from Andre, but bad luck for Kimi that he got involved in the incident between Wirdheim and Heidfeld, that cost him some seconds.
Not a great race for Jaguar.

On a side note I would like to switch Webber for McNish in the test sesions please.

Okay just to keep you informed I am passing over control of round 4 over to Chris and just a word of warning he is looking at running it this weekend. Therefore there is not a lot of time for managers to place bids for the first 8 available drivers and to apply for the Jerez mid season test session that is now scheduled to be held after the Spanish GP, so if you were planning on attending the session or bidding for drivers I'd get on with it if I were you ;)

EDIT: I've just seen your post Macca and I would've updated it myself but I sent the perfs over a minute or so before you posted. Then again its not a big job and I'm sure Chris will spot the change :)

Good news that the next race might be run this weekend :)
Our race was dire. Well done to Arrows for destroying us, they never had the benefit of preseason tests.

Both drivers need to shape up or they're for the chop. Rage over :P
