ATI RADEON 5800 SERIES (NO SOUND!)

Hi

Is there anyone else playing gp4 / windows 7 with graphic card ATI RADEON 5800 series? I have no in game sounds at all. In main menu i hear the music but when i start the game no sounds at all.

i have 5830 HD on windwos 7, but no problems
maybe a directx problem?
install a new version and try again^^

It's simly not working gp4 on my new computer!! No in game sounds at all. I experienced the same problem with gp3, no in game sounds and po over 300 %!!!
I'm using following system
Windows 7 64 bits
ati radeon 5850 1 gb
intel core i5 750 2.66 ghz

Can you try another version of the ATI drivers? Maybe an earlier version?

ok but you have another serie numer, i'm using RADEON 5800 series....as explained before, the music in the main menu i can hear but no in games sounds at all.

Are you sure your sound issue comes from your graphic card?

what else could cause this problem?

Your sound device. Where is it? May be on your mother board.
Did you check the GP4 set up regarding sound?

You probably have an integrated sound card (in the motherboard) which may be at fault, or it may simply be a software/drivers problem - I'm afraid I can't help you much with this though.
The graphics card is (almost) certainly not at fault though - as far as I'm aware, it has no role in processing sound ingame at all.
