The Mclaren authors are above and it was sent by email though you can download it - also had to do something strange to get it working can't remember now.. this wad is great for taking the bits you want!!Is there a better Williams then..

on my wad .. modified version

i have the 2002 helmets from hdh
rh tex + carshape that was already there for mlcaren
my lods are all the same for each car
still dont have arrows car yet
all teams in right order which means i need to change cockpit arms as well


needs a little bit more work but i love it ^_^ =D

This wad runs like a dream on my system, thankyou thankyou, what a great way to put all the talent together and get it out there to the users. I find it hard to believe any artist would be pissed off with this, we know who they are and definately appreciate their work, that's all that matters really. I'm off to get the anim.wad. Here's another sticky topic

If anyone knows of a better helmet set with clear visors let me know...
So far I've not a had one complaint, some have even posted here. Will just have to wait and see... Glad to hear it's working well on other rigs:D,
now then - back to making Sauber2002.

Sasjag, Vader, yes LOD is level of detail as there is lots of shapes per car for different draw distances

There is a better Williams available which, imho is better than Viper's:
from Zachary Griffin version 1.13 at this site (I think).

No matter how much u play GP4, u wont see LOD mentined Its the file names where we see LOD :P

Hi,

These Cars Look great the only problem I have is the Minardi is White and the farrari flicks between red and white

Anyone know how to fix this????

Which f1graphics.cfg you using?? Try the one posted above where the wad is..

I am using the standard cfg file at the moment but I will try and download yours tonight to see if it makes any differnce!

The only thing is that the last time I downloaded a cfg file it was set up to have smooth detail but the cars felt liek they were doing 2 mph!

If you don't like the cfg file changes these lines in it..


0 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
1 ; Full 32bit textures

so they read..

1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
0 ; Full 32bit textures

Remember that once the first line is set to 1 in the cfgfile, it controls most graphics options instead of in-game graphic menu:D

where can i download this from??????? and does it work with the patched game???????

and my ferrari is still not rite and toyota all white!!!!

and could u update your wad file to include specific steering wheels for all cars??

Performance editor is easy to find - look in utilities/editors, should work fine with patched version maybe have to test.
Did you use the f1graphics.cfg above??
