Hi guys


Long time no hearing or typing from me but I reccently started playing GP4 again and now I have got a problem.
I play through gpxpatch without a mod, I had to pit and all in the sudden GP4 crashed to my desktop.
My specs are:
Windows 7 64bit
AMD turion ultra dual core M620 2.5 ghz
4 gb memory
ati mobility radeon HD 4650 series up to date

I am sure there is nothing wrong with the pc which is a laptop btw.

First thing to do is right click GP4.exe and set the compatibility to XP SP3. cpu to 0 in gpx. Is this a fresh out of the box installation?

Nope it's a downloaded installed game.
But I did set the cpu on 0 and it didn't do nothing it still crashes.

Here is what I found in the log of gpxpatch.

Well, if you do not have an original off the cd version to install, we cannot really help you, because who knows what it is you have downloaded. No wonder it does not work. You do realise that the game is very cheap to buy these days? Once you have an original cd, then we know exactly what you have, and that makes our job easier to solve a problem you might have. That error means that some of the game is missing. It really needs a proper installation to fix it.
