Valencia Track question

Sorry if this has been discussed before but does anyone know if there is a good version of the Valencia track available that doesn't have the problem of the cars disappearing at turn one for a second or so? - is there a way to fix this problem? - hope someone can help

I get the same problem and just on the start finish straight. Interested if anyone knows what it could be. There is 2 versions of the track I have tried both, one with the Team Wall Gantries and one without and they both do the same thing.

It has to do with the dat file which contains more camera's than the original dat file. Upload the dat file for me and i will fix it.

But I already know this track and that's why I'm looking for a Valencia circuit which is not so "naked".

However, schroeder's video looks very, very promising

tried updating the dat file I use for the Valencia track - with the new cameras - it reduces the number of cameras from 20 to 14 but the cars still disappear at the end of the start finish straight - is there anything else that needs to be done?

Thx for the help with this TL but I can't get it to work. I open the file with notepad, drop your new files in and I get an error message when I start the track in game.

@neilcaine, how did you open the the DAT file? with notepad?

you have to open the dat file with the gp4builder...
than you delete the old camera settings and import the new settings...

It happens only with onboard cams, not with the track cams. I think it's track related. Try to use another track instead of Magny-Cours.

Tried the download as well, thank you In race the cars only for a split second disappear on the first straight and to view the race they disappear again for a split second on the last corner. We have conflicting info here, do I just import the track camera or delete all track cameras and than import the new?

Deleting the old cams isn't necessary. What track wad file do you use? Cars are only disappearing on onboard cams, i presume it's track related.

Silverstone wad file and the cars disappear just on the first straight in onboard view, but not for long and on the last corner if I am viewing cars lapping.
