Bar 001(Conversion from F1C) Released by Nick!!

Hello guys,

i converted for the first time! an car from the original f1c game and that has came to result the Bar 001 from the ´99 season.

Here´s a picture:



And for modders if you want to update the shape go ahead you all have my permission but it would be nice if you give me credits for converting the shape
And for the painters who like to update the textures go ahead and release them as long you credit me!!!

Actually Ea or ISI never Gives permission to bring their original files in another game .

So this car should not be released publically.

Its totally a different story whether EA or ISI cares about it................But logically no one have permission to convert and release the F1c original files for Gp4.

I dont want a fight here ......Just telling the truth...........so dont get me wrong.

yes and it's not allowed to make updates for Gp4

Many works are based on original stuff (tracks, stwheels, pitcrews...), modders don't ask to Infogrames. I don't know why Nick should ask to EA.

Honestly, I didn't about another cars from the 1999 season, at least not with such a great quality. That's why I would be very happy if you can convert the Jordan car as well

I find this a bit strange because the tex files look just like an earlier 1999 mod. However Nick you may have updated and changed the tex and lod files - I would'nt be able tell. With regard copyright, as a professional writer myself, my understanding is there is a need to change at least 5% of the body of a text. However if an image is changed - not so sure about that. My understanding is that Crammond had serious issues about the "amending" of his product but one would presume that any attempt to prosecute would have been fruitless. I sort of sympathise with this because he would probably have been on a pretty tight royalty. Protecting your copyright when its your living is a pretty grim and hard business.

there is already a complete mod 99 available, aswell as the trackspecific updates of the cars. GP4italia made the mod long time ago and i've made the updates, There a mod 2000 finished, too from gp4 italia

I have the mod,but not the track spec updates.
