I know, I know it's me again!!;)

Trying to update to 2008 season but when I install the tracks (Schueyfan's trackpack GP4DB.com), do I put the .dat files in the original number order or the order that they race?

Thanks in advance guys, your input is valuable to me!

you can just put them in in any order (2001 order is probably easier as it saves you needing to change it every year) and then you can modify the track order in GPxPatch or TSM.

Edit: I wish it was an easy answer as that, the track is fine in 2001 season mode, but then when using GPX Patch the track is incorrect, so layout is wrong, any idea's?

Sorry said the wrong thing's early! I'm now calm! ;-)

D/L a program called CMagic. Open gp4 track with Cmagic-click edit gp4 info button-this is where u can enter values such as track name, country, splits, laps and prefix.

eg: 2010 Sepang in slot 3

prefix Sepang2001
name Petronas Malaysian GP
country Malaysia
adjective Malaysian
laps 56
split1 290
split2 670

with this info added to the track you can now switch trackorder in gpxpatch to whatever order you want as well as having all the correct info in the menus of gp4. There is a tutorial at grandprixgames which can help you as well. Hope that helped.
