I'm now on Bahrain circuit and for the life of me I can't finish the damn race, it keeps crashing 4 laps remaining and on turn before the back straight (behind the pits). It's getting very frustrating that I can't finish a race!! Please could someone point me in the right direction in how to resolve this issue!!

yea I did! I tried verbosity & cpu settings but no difference. I even found out that if I paused the game and try and accelerate the time it freezes then!

What could it be? I tried Mortal's suggestion and re-installed the game/tracks/cars etc...

Did you recently update your track.wad with pitcrews, garages etc? because I had the same problem yesterday (pitverge etc..). I have replaced the installed track.wads by the original ones (before I modify them). I have also replaced the anim.wad by the original one and all seem fine for the moment.
Are you running under Win7 64bits? Because I have noticed a problem with my sound card. when the game crashed, I had no sound anymore (on my desktop and into the game if I launched it again). I was obliged to restart my computer. So, I have updated my sound card driver. Maybe it is unrelated with the log problem but who knows?

I've tried to replace track.wad to the original (Sakir) before adding pitcrew etc... but no joy it crashes on the first corner and freezes! I think the best thing to do, is to re-install the game Yet again!! Sorry gents but I'm losing patience with this game!! Does anyone have a COMPLETE WORKING MOD for 2010 (incl. Tracks)?

There are no 2010 tracks, there might be some tracks 2009 versions, but not too many. There is a thread with a 2010 cars.wad I think.
