Haha it wont take 2 :-)

Some more :). Please bear in mind these are all captures from GP4 Builder which is why the skybox looks a bit funny, its not quite the same ingame (no noticable blocky bits in the sky ;))

If anyone has any 2009 team trucks I could sure use them ;).

And finally the what should be final version of the pitlane textures. I spent ages doing the Abby/Santader ground ads and geting them to align without stretching, only to find that they weren't present during the grand prix *whoops*..

Thats all for now :)
Wills

There´s some issues to point out, mate :P

1. There are no covered stands at stowe turn.
2. At left exit of Abbey tyrewalls are mapped with VPower adds. Also, at the right exit there are tyrewalls mapped with lenovo and Bridgestone.
3. There´s no Foster nor Siemens at pitlane wall and fences.
4. There are Santander Logos for left walls at main straight.
5. VPower logo is a bit different at hangar straight bridge.
6. Replace jaguar logo at building on Abbey exit with Lenovo.

And this is what I like so far:

1. Pit verges and banks are just awesome, and yes, there´s no logo for red stripe :)
2. Skydome and new horizon fits perfectly.
3. You have stretched upper part for Santander/Abbey bridge at main straight, and that´s correct :)

You can´t get out now, though it´s a very private decision :)

There are so many projects we could collaborate. And there´s a brand new silverstone coming, who knows?

I have 385 Mb of your 2009 pictures on my HD, should I upload them? Just tell me so, and I´ll do it asap.

Best regards from Brasil

Hey Gildoorf, thanks for all the feedback, i didn't notice some of these points yet. As for Jaguar and fosters logos, these I just haven't got around to replacing yet will do soon. If you could upload the pics that would be great. But remember the pics were taken at Renault world series so lots of ads may / wouldn't be the same as the F1 ads. (Im using a recording of the race to check where every advert is currently :).

Thanks guys :).

Nice works Wills, the GPGSL is looking forward to racing on this, our last race for the season so maybe we'll get lucky there. :-)

Excellent work!

A few small pointers though, I think you need to add more shadow to the Vodafone and Santander adverts.

Also, do you plan to incorporate the different layouts on the .gp4 file?

Thanks SchueyFan, Yep need to alter the logos a bit.

What you mean by incorporating the different layouts? If you mean the graphical escape roads etc then probably not as I simply don't have the time, and I sometimes find tracks with these which weren't created in the original game have some funny effects with car shadows?

Hey all,

Sorry for the lack of updates, been working on getting the textures ingame and it took longer than expected.

I have a few bugs to work out and still work to do, but can anyone help me with this issue. There are 2 issues here really, first the textures for the voda logo dont seem to be working properly, they are both DXT1 with semi transparency, and the second issue is that the green "supports" texture is visible through the other textures. I've noticed this before on other ad bridges like this, not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong :(.

See here:

Thanks,
Regards,
Wills

Hey wils, congrats on this masterpiece. I'd just like to say that the track is so real life. It's more like an r/factor Grand turismo track, rather than a GP4 track, never seen anything like it.
Thanx for all the hard work involved, really appreciated.(Y)
