The USA GP Indianapolis Free Practice session has been declared by the Race Director as invalid. The event will be re-run some time after the corrected perfs are posted. Good luck everyone.

Aston Martin Racing Buys Velox
At a press conference at Indianapolis after the now void free practice, Simtec team principal Stuart Ingers confirmed the many rumours that his team were buying Velox. The sale includes all chassis, engines and team assets of Velox and will be called Aston Martin Racing. The team may run with the excellent Velox in-house engine, which may be re-badged as Aston Martin. The cars will be running in British Racing Green.
Stuart said, " This is fantastic. I want to thank Nick for selling his team to me. We both want to be competitive so this suits us both. Nick wants to carry on his race career and I've been waiting for such a long time to enter a team in the GPGSL"
Velox owner Nick van der Voort will stay on with the team as lead race driver. Nick, who was present at the press conference, had this to say, "I'm very happy I was able to sell the team to Stuart and Aston Martin. Aston Martin is a great brand and produces great cars (do I get a company car?
)! I think their successes in other series can be a solid base for another success story in the GPGSL. I'm really looking forward to the first race!"
Stuart also introduced his second race driver, Adam Davies, seemed very excited to be promoted to the race team, "Wow! I'm well chuffed! It is a real honour to be offered the chance to race for Aston Martin Racing and I intend to take this chance with both hands. Having had Nick as a team boss I am sure will we have a great working relationship and push the team forward. Again I would like to thank Stu for this once in a lifetime opportunity."
John Maverick will also stay on as test driver and will be joined by new team owner Stuart Ingers.

Now, as the secret is finally disclosed, I can also officialy approve, that I will continue to test for Velox. I'm very glad that Stuart Ingers bought the team and that Nick will stay with us. These are perfect conditions for me and that's why I signed another one year contract with Stu and the prospective Aston Martin Racing Team.
In addition to that I'm really happy for Adam, that Stu gives him the chance to fight in a race team from now on. He did a real good job this year as a tester and has earned this chance! And I'll do my very best to find good basic setups for him. *grins* Thanks for your attention, Ladies and Gentlemen

I'm interested to re-join the league with a new team. That would coast me the test-driver seat, but that's not so tragedy.
What teams are left without drivers now? I'm struggling to keep up haha

Unhappy with the long wait over his future in GPGSL, the driver Rodrigo Vilela decided that this is his last year in category.
"My plans for 5th season is to be on the starting grid. It seems that my good performance in free practices was not enough to attract the attention of other teams. And the long wait over sale and buy teams discouraged me to inscribe One Racing on championship, "he said.
Even sadder, the brazilian wishes good luck to all involved: "This championship is amazing, I learned too much on MPR. I wish a lot of good luck to Dan (Paddock) and all everyone involved. And, of course, a special thanks for all members of GPGSL. Partnership with GPGSL-3 will continue. On GPGSL-4, I'll be back soon"!
