PRESS RELEASE - NATHAN McGREGOR

I would just like to thank the Phoenix Racing Team for believing in me and giving this young driver a go.
I look forward to helping the team progress through the season and am confident I can produce the high standards this team prides itself on.
First practise,

Im proud of Jethro, you did a good job man! Too bad for Charrel, hope things get better next time.
At Phoenix im happy to be back. Thank you very much Phililp ! 13th just misses me out for perf points but im happy. In the rain i had quite a good session.
I'll go for the results next time.

Qualifying:

VSM: John, you did a good job considering the pace of VSM lately. Enough chances for points for you :D
Phoenix: Paolo and Mal, 5th and 10th respectively. NICE ! ;)

How do I convert my .psd template to a .tex?
P14 seems like a waste of boost to me unfortunately. Let's hope I saved it all for the race instead of wasting it on this lousy P14.

Save it as a tga 24 bit RLE checked in Photoshop. Then using Slimtex (ZazTools) batch it to a tex file. Set image to ARGetc, opaque transparency, 4 mipmaps, set the macro for helmet_2 for the top of a helmet and create an output folder. See my recent Slimtex threads as well.

GPGTV presents round 3 of GPGSL S4
Belgian GP Spa Francorchamps , RACE
50 % CHANCE OF RAIN

Welcome back to Spa, where it's Velox front row, with Ingers and Greenhalgh right behind. Houston on pole, Nick next.. Rain is predicted, but it's a dry start!

THE LIGHT ARE ON, well not yet,

NOW they are off, darn , missing the green and red one.

VAN DER VOORT PRESSES THE BOOST BUTTON, BUT HOUSTON AS WELL

THIS IS CLOSE!

TAFURO PASSES INGERS WHILE IT STILL UNDECIDED IN THE MATT/nICK MATCH

WHOA! BATTLE OF DRIVERS BOOSTS!

SIDE BY SIDE INTO EAU ROUGE!

IT'S VAN DER VOORT WHO TAKES THE LEAD

DE BOER LOST FEW PLACES AT THE START BUT NOW GETS A VIEW OF GRANT, ALEKSANDER AND BROWN GOING INTO CHICANE- AT THE SAME TIME

WELL BROWN WILL HAVE TO GO TO PITS, THAT'S KEELEY AIRBORNE, END OF THE RACE AND SHE IS UNHURT LUCKILY

OAKLEY JUST BEHIND SANTILAL, BROWN IN THE BACK, ALEKSANDER MANAGES TO CONTINUE HOWEVER REJOINS AT P 20

VOORT, HOUSTON, GREENHALGH, TAFURO BOLSCHER TOP 5 IN FIRST LAP

SANTILAL GOES INSIDE T1 TO PASS BYRON

CAN COMEBACK MEISTER DO ANYTHING AFTER THIS?

HOUSTON STILL USING BOOST, HAS THREE OR FOUR LAPS OF FUEL ON BOARD THAN HIS TEAMMATE AND CATCHES UP

APPLIES PRESSURE ON NICK, AND BECOMES NEW RACE LEADER

WHEN VAN RENSELAAR MAKES A MISTAKE, WARRINGTON FOLLOWS MATT'S SUIT

DE BOER LOCKING UP

WINSTON PULLS AWAY FROM MONIL WHO HAS TO DEFEND HIS LINE AGAINST VAN HET BOLSSHER

BRYON TAKES P7 BACK

HOUSTON RUNNING AWAY, WHILE NICK HAS TO DEAL WITH ED

SANTILAL LOST MOMENTUM SO STODDART EASES TROUGH AND OAKLEY AS WELL!

INGERS HAS RETAKEN FOURTH PLACE FROM TAFURO

WINSTON GOES OFF TRACK, LOSES A PLACE TO BYRON BUT HE KEPT THE SPEED

GREENHALGH V VAN DER VOORT

NICK HAS PROBLEM THROUH EAU ROUGE

WITH WONDERFUL CAR CONTROL MANAGES TO DROP TO THIRD ONLY. MUST HAVE TAKEN A LESSON FROM DANICA PATRICK NASCAR RACE THE OTHER DAY

TIM VAN DIJCK IN HIS HOME RACE

ROOKIE TAFURO HAS HAD MAGNIFICENT RACE SO FAR, BUT WHOA, RUNS OFF TRACK

OTHERS ARE APPROACHING AS HE IS TRYING TO RECOVER

WOW, IS THIS A FLYING RE-START OR WHAT. TAFURO AMAZINGLY ONLY LOSES 3 PLACES, OAKLEY MAKES INTO 6TH

SCHROEDER VIA GROENEBOER, SEE WE DIDN'T MISSPELL IT;)

VAN DER VOORT MISSES THE IDEAL LINE AGAIN AT EAU ROUGE, AND STU TAKES FUL ADVANTAGE OF IT

BOLSCHER AND OAKLEY NOW CATCH WITH NICK

TAFURO MAKES ANOTHER ROOKIE MISTAKE

AND FORMER WORLD CHAMP WARRINGTON LOSES HIS FRONT WING IN THE PROCESS

PAOLO' CAR ISNT DAMAGED, BUT HIS POSITION IS , 20TH

PART TWO COMING LATER THIS AFTERNOON

but i need points!!!and then i decide boost strategy,i'd deserve something in the end;);)

My GPGSL Career
WE ARE BACK PART TWO

Van der Voort makes a costly mistake

Going into Spinville means ruined race in this case

van Renselaar in tenth

Good strategy today puts Stu into third

Pitstops begin for some already, Houston is lightest

the standing not entirely representative as some have yet to pit

Race leader in for a splash and dash, well not really, but they are quick at VELOX

REJOINS AT FIFTH

GREENHALGH IS 6TH AFTER THE STOP WHILE STODDART APPLIES BOOST ON FUMES, - AS HE IS -LET'S SAY IT TOGETHER -YET TO MAKE A PITSTOP;)

MARSHALLS STILL WAVING YELLOW FLAGS MANY LAPS AFTER TAFURO SPIN.

LEADING AGAIN

AFTER ACCIDENT EARLIER ON, SEASON 3 RUNNER UP'S CAR DOES NOT HAVE THE PACE,

INGERS HAS HAD THE BEST RACE SINCE INDY S2 WIN,RUNNING FOR PODIUM ON SHEER PACE AND ABBILITY BUT NOW ....

MISTAKE THAT COSTS HIM EVERYTHING

VERY UNFORTUNATE FOR STU,

AFTER STUS'S SPIN, SANTILAL LOOKING FOR A TOP 5 FINISH, WHILE OAKLEY HAS HOPES FOR PODIUM

5 SECONDS DIVIDE ED AND MATT

STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RACE

VAN DIJCK TRYING TO SCORE SOME POINTS AT HOME RACE, SO FAR NOT DOING ENOUGH, while ALEKSANDER HAS BEEN STRUGGLING ALL WEEKEND

BUT SOMEWHERE IN SPA IS STARTING TO RAIN, AND ON THE TEAM RADIO SURELY THERE WILL BE A CALL FOR A CHANGE.

YUP, THERE'S SPRAY ALRIGHT

AND IRONICALLY IT'S CHRIS HINZ WHO IS IT'S FIRST VICTIM, LOSES GRIP

AT LEAST HE MANAGES TO CARRY ON IN 18TH

WHILE HIS TEAMMATE IS SITTING IN THE POINTS LOUNGE

BUT WAIT A MINUTE, MORE PROBLEMS FOR HINZ

AND IT'S WARRINGTON THAT RUNS INTO SPUN CHRIS, LOSING FRONT WING -AGAIN
HOPE THEY HAVE A SPARE AT VSM

TEAM RADIO DEJA VU "PREPARE FRONT WING"

part three later this afternoon

PART THREE EDITED INTO PART TWO

WELCOME FOR THIRD AND FINAL PART
Ingers first to head for pits, changes to wet tyres

Houston and Greenhalgh are the ones to stop, while Oakley has to make an entire lap on dry tryes-

despite making a stop, Houston still on top, with Phil just behind him

but Greenhalgh is already on wets and easily cathches up and passes his teamate, as and the latter hasnt pitted yet, however is also on dry tyres

Similarly Winston has yet to stop while Bolscher who is fantastic today tries to pass him

right into the sand, but he is able to carry on without losing much

Winston remained on track, but now does not keep the car on the road by himself

Randy makes a recovery again

Santilal is closing in on DXR driver

Despite all problem he's having with the car and the accident, 5 time race winner is now near points

teammate battles at TNR

Houston pole position fastest lap , but will he win? Ed aint far behind.

He's won here last season, Cartwright doing very well now too

Aleksander trying to pass Schroeder fo 12th

and makes it!

Bolscher has Monil in his rearviewmirror

Rick has moved into 8th

Santilal tries to go inside, but van het Bolscher keep his team principal at bay!

De Boer and van Renselaar battle for position

but let's go back to the race leaders, Greenhalgh has caught up with Houston!

Aleksander defends the line for 12th, and Horvath who is -to be fair -quicker runs into his car.

that tangle leaves van Dicjk and Schroeder with a chance for a point

van der Voort goes into spinville again and Ingers has nowehere to go!

while Stu is returning to pits, he has trouble keeping the car on track due to understeer and Warrington runs into him when he sways

Winston takes p9 from De Boer

Nick in the pits getting his rear wing fixes, Matt and Ed lap him fighting for the victory. What a turn of events for van der Voort

Stu resjoins just before Houston almost a lap down and that works well for GReenhalgh

Inger now on fresh tyres has managed to pull away from Houston, not allowing himself getting lapped, it's 0,6 separating two Aussies

Greenhalgh attempts to overtake but grip is lost as it's slippery

It's 2 laps to go and the battle continues!

Can Ed win for the fifth time in his career or will Matt score 17 poinst in Spa?

will he do it??

Houston has remained in first position, LAST LAP

ON THE LIMIT, WHAT A MATCH

GREAT EFFORT BY GREENHALGH, BUT MATT HOUSTON WINS IN THE END!

POLE POSITION, FASTEST LAP AND RACE WIN!

a short interview during the race:

I: we're here in the pitlane with chris hinz. chris, what happened?
H: well, i lost the car at eau rouge. i hit the wet kerbs on the exit and lost control. i think it was john who then hit me at the back and destroyed the rear suspension.

I: ok, though luck. what about the rest of the race?
H: it was quite good. i was able to gain some places in the first couple of laps. the car was good and it payed off that we opted for a dry setup. obviously that made it hard for me when the rain started. it would have been better to change to wets or intermediates after my first spin. going on on slicks was the wrong decision.

I: thanks and good luck for the next race
H: thanks
