that will be a intersting race weekend. if the conditions stay like they were in the fp everything can happen. in s3 i got my best results in the rain, i hope that trend continues.

Not yet. I'm about to ask. Do I leave a message on this forum topic or do I PM each owner who has a spare seat?
both will do ;) PM might be more effective though ;-)

We'll see what we can do Hinz, a 1-2 would be nice ;)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

15th isn't bad, but could be better.

Let's see what we can do in the qualifying & race.
a question.
as you know we add 10 seconds in the dry for missing a scheduled pitstop, 15 in the wet.
difference is cause tests back at s2 shown that it takes more time to move from point a to point b, compared to running in the pitlane.
i'm not asking for that, but what if it the second stop happens in changeable condition.

f.e. i think that whatever the weather, track at second stop is, that time penalty should be applied to one stopper that misses it.
but where is the line between dry and wet?
say the dry line is appearing, is that wet or dry?
do we compare lap times?
any ideas how to define wet or dry in this context?

p.s. i'll be running qualy later today.

Any offer is welcom and I look forward to driving and hopfully helping any team that gives me a chance as soon as possible.

i won't complain if that happens, even if i finish 2nd ;)

@marko: i think it would be best to have a clear and simple rule. eg if a part of the track is wet at some point of the race (cars cause spray) it is considered a wet race and the corresponding penalties are given. a damp track would then be considered as a dry race, but i think spray is a feature which is easy to spot and thus a good indicator.
just an idea, maybe the gpgsl team already has a better idea.

Very happy with my performance car was consistent through the changeable conditions. Hopefully the team can do well in the race.
That's quite a good idea n00binio :)

yes, that's definetely not complicated ( i mean that in a good way) and good clear idea.
if at any time cars cause spray, it's defined as a wet, thus wet time penalty. Thanks..

My GPGSL Career
belgian gp, qualifying

Weather forecast still says a 50% chance of rain, GPGSL qualifying session begins in the dry.
Van der Voort has 6 points lead infront of Oakley in WDC, while Velox has been topping the WCC also
Let's just start with coverage and find out what happens next.

looks like a dry session!

van het Bolcher opens the session and is using team power boost!

Stoddart quicker than Byron

Groeneboer has got drivers boost

and so does the championship leader

Rookie impresses!

Santilal very near

but Houston shows that free practice was no coincidence

Winston doing great in his comeback to racing!

top 8 after first round

Kevin Schroeder in action

World Champion Phil Oakley still looking for a top lap

while Greenhalgh manages p2 without any kers erm, boost

so does van Renselaar

Van der Voort joins his teammate in front row!

top 8

It's Tim van Dijck's home race here at Spa, good first sector

but loses time in second. He's been very impressive in few races he's been back in season 2 , finished four time in points out of five races! and has also scored points in s4

car lacks the pace

Philip Oakley improves

Stuart Ingers puts both drivers and team power boost to good use!

Santilal brakes!

Aleksander still not used to the new car in qualifying

Greenhalgh hoping for this season's breakthru race at Spa, looks promising so far.

1-2,

STAY TUNED FOR RESULTS

Needless to say; disappointing. Free practice really foreshadowed our maximum here, here's hoping for a rainy race!
Monil did well though.
