As things go nicely, here's already a new version of Gp4Builder.

This version adds some liftings in .dat sector windows, in .gp4 parts windows with new mapping buttons, in fence builder where you can create multiple stripes at once and even save your profiles for other tracks/jobs.
I also added things asked soon or later as reversed mapping or .bin with accurate normals to get the shiny effect of original tracks.
And most of the troubles of past revision were fixed.
Enjoy.

Changelog :

v1.237
New : Multiple stripes fences
New : Option to display reversed textures (Zmodeler compatibility)
New : Sector Banking edition in .dat sector window
New : Normals and vertice sizes are now saved separatly for tracks and non-tracks
Enhanced : Reworked .dat sector window
Enhanced : Quick Mapping buttons
Enhanced : .bin created from .dat now gets same shining effect than original tracks
Enhanced : slightly improved kerbs first sector
Fixed : axis are now displayed at vertice level even if normals are hidden
Fixed : axis scale was too small if only a .gp4 file was open
Fixed : jip mapping stayed displayed if a track was loaded once
Fixed : sector number can't be hidden if only a .dat file is open
Fixed : Main axis display was way too big for non-track .gp4 files
Fixed : Error when attempting to open a new file after a .gp4 file was opened without texture
Fixed : focus was lost when editing .gp4 object values
Fixed : Fence builder last sector number was keeping values from last track
Fixed : Incorrect banking degree values in AD command label
Fixed : Created .gp4 shadows were invisible ingame (reversed face order)
Fixed : Incorrect Verges width and height values in Multiple sector editing window

Amazing news. Thanks for enhancing GP4. Also... exporting cars to 3DS without normal loosing will be a feature in a near future? (Only asking ;) )

Thank you everyone :)

@Gigi4 : I assume you set replay to max speed ...anyway was it faster with past versions ?

@Raulongo : the matter is that .3ds file format does not save normals (but smoothing groups) so it can't be done this way.

There's a way or a file format that will be saving normals aswell? Thanks for the answer ;-)

yes, max speed and with previous version it was also too fast in certain turns

@Raulongo : yep, there are other file formats but they are often less-documented (if not at all) or harder to create (for me). I used wrl in the past and if I remind well normals were saved (BTW I checked and you can still save .gp4 files in .wrl in GP4Builder).

@Gigi4 : Well, I smoothed ccline with Bezier computation since v1.217 so it might ask a little more from your processor but it might not be dramatic. On my computer I even feel it's displayed faster now.
Else you can try to delete all cc-lines section (but first) and launch a lap, it will use past (v1.181) copmutation method. Thus you can check if it's any faster.

I tought it could be ccline fault so i already tried on a track with no ccline, but is the same

Before someone told me : yes, banking value means nothing. to get the real angle value you need to divide by 2 and apply arctan to the result ;)
It's hopefully fixed for next release.

Laurent, there is a tiny bug with the "Surface Properties" box. With "Quick mapping edit" there are 4 square icons, when you hold the mouse arrow above an icon you see a text, except the one where you rotate it 90 degrees to the right.
