Nurburgring from Mod 2007... Fix?

Okay, I assume all of you with this mod are experiencing the same problems with the Schumacher-S (formerly Audi-S) with the track provided; popping out over the top the AI cars slow down quite considerably, losing themselves probably around a second at most. Is there a fix for this, because even though my pole lap is in the mid 1.27s, it's just no fun being 2 seconds a lap quicker than them... On ACE!

Any help? Was there a fix released for this?

Thanks

The cc-line is quite bad at this section. I always planned to make a new one for this track but did not had the time until now.

the cc-line used was the same one used in the original release of nurburgring 2006.

I started using 'Car power team dependant'... Whole new world! I'm now between 0.5sec and 1sec (although on some tracks, 1.5sec) faster than the puter... That's still quite a lot, but I'm also using the slipstream thingy on 30 for all tracks. Actually at Monza, I'm only just faster, maybe 0.1sec, so that's good! But it's all lost at the the first Lessmo and the Parabolica, which is a shame; I'm about 1 second quicker in the first sector, it'll then go down to about 0.5sec in the second sector and then down to 0.1sec at the final. Interestingly enough, I can aboslute nail the second Lessmo!

Try slipstream on 50.
I have it on from 50 for macca and ferrari to 10 for aguri.
So the backmarkers are easier to overtake if they dont move, however following Mclaren, Ferrari, is tougher, losing grip-

50 is really much...just try 50 at Barcelona or Magny Cours and you will hate it ;)
30 is fine for me, too...dificult to overtake but still possible when having good tires. And good idea to reduce the value for slower cars.

so a lower number means easier to slipstream and pass? front and rear? what about drag?

yup - 50 is where you start noticing the AI cars feeling the slipstream - but is impossible to drive on keyboard. I guess it's a bit easier with a wheel as you just steer more into the corner. I run somewhere between 20-30

Is there a new Nurburgring map anywhere? This is really annoying me because lapping 2 seconds quicker than the 2nd fastest guy on Ace isn't right. The track also seems reeeeeally grippy; I set the first and second gear ratios really quite low and the diff very tight on accel and I can still drill the throttle midway through most corners.

A bit out of topic really but bazil83, when you said the diff was tight does that mean a lower number makes it tight or the other way around....

Lower number makes it tight in all cases. Setting all four to 0 is effectively welding the diff/having a solid drive shaft, like on a go-kart.
