say you're using 2007 mod with 750/770 bhp for best cars, but you don't use team power dependent. How much BHP do you actually get?
I know the grip is 16384 as gpxpatch does not give you the written one, even if you choose PTD.

you get something that was ok in 2001. it´s senseless to play a mod and disable that power is team dependant.

Speaking of which, what BHP did you use in that video, n00binio?
and what physics?

i used tony 06 mod, i´m not quite sure what physics it uses, i´ll have a look at the bhp in the perf file and post it later

physics are 2006 physics by Nicola Acciarri

You don't have 2001 BHP, you have the BHP included in the physic file, which is commonly the best BHP of the perf file.

that's what I was wondering about, yeah, thanks, Gusgus.

altough, I'm not sure that is the case entirely.
When I tick CPTD I got 2 seconds slower results if used with same setup, oddly, both with Macca. Speedtraps also slower, so I had to lower the wings.

EDIT;I should mention that I have ran with original physics, so you both may have a point.

Which top speed does CC cars reach ? Is you mod a CSM Mod ? If so, is you GP4.exe V8-torque patched (ie. does the Data\Patch\ folder of the mod have a file named "V8.cap" in it ?

EDIT - If you run original physics, all is normal, because the original BHP is 855 at 16600 RPM.

Yes a CSM mod 2006/07 updated with 2008 cars.
MY performance file. ferrari, macca 760/780
Force India 730/750 for example.
Cant recall the speedtraps for AI, cause I havent raced without TPD in a while.
No, don't have V8, don't think the mod uses, correct me if wrong.
I play the mod with PTD now but with original physics( have the setups already, can just race). And I find Nicola's physics a bit too oversteering tbh

@BAR#10 : Read my previous post edited, you have 855 BHP with original physics (and CTPD unchecked), 75 more than the best engine on the grid ;)

I saw it, yeah.:)
Hey, that's why I could do 1:24,8xx in qualy of Melbourne 2007 (not hotlapping)
But worry not, playing with STR and RBR power dependant and still getting slightly off pole position ( with RBR.)
You can make up for less BHP, purely with less downforce.

a few minutes ago, i do 1:25.491 in melbourne (practise mode) with V8 patch and the best engine in grid is 825BHP's... the physics has 835 horsepower and can get a maximum of 17411RPM... ;-)

update#2
I ve been able to make a setup (Nicola's physics )towards understeering to neutralize it's default overteering and I've succeded.:)
I did a 1:24,08 lap in qualifying of Melbourne (2008 trackpack)with power team dependant Renault (750/770BHP)
Also somwehat related I finally practiced in the rain with original physics and I finally am getting comepetitive. (in the rain, where I couldn't do much before)
It's all about the setups...
