I know, but for the 1993 version of Donington you changed the position of the dat file. My question is if you also planned to do that for the current Donington track?

In a word NO ..but the main changed in the new track for me is the track elevation, and for that reason i think it will be difficult to remap your land coverage on new dat 93. The different position it's not a problem ..i think you could remap without difficuties.
What i want to tell you is that previus dat it's not correct for elevation and so for me it's no more useful.

If i understand you right you changed for the 1993 version of Donington the elevation and the position of the dat compared to the current Donington track?

Are you also planning to change the elevation for the current Donington track, so it have the same height changes as Donington '93?

looks great, nice to see some 1993 adverts!

however, one potential problem with the 2nd screen - i don't think there would be a pillar to a bridge in the infield, because if a car hit it it would be very dangerous. i haven't checked any picture or video footage, so i was just wondering whether this is correct or not.

Correct observation... i've checked and you're right

@drt01

This race was sponsored by Sega, and I'm certain that "Game Gear" Videowalls have been used.
I'll try to find some pics of it in old magazine.
