Is there a limit to the amount of laps I can have?

Using GP4 Builder, I opted to change the amount of laps in Melbourne from 58 to 150. Crazy, I know. :D

Anyway when I got in-game it said at the top part 150/150, signalling there are 150 laps left (note: I am using post 2004 setout, the one you see now on TV).

However, as soon as the first car crossed the start line, it came up with him as Winner, and said Race Over. I was like WTF??

Is there a limit to the amount of laps you can have?

I think it's 128, but I may be wrong

Yes there is, and is 122 or 128 or something lol

It's 127. If you set 128 laps, the race will finish when the first car crosses the start/finish line, around one second after the start of the race.

127 (or 255) are the most probable numbers so I won't be astonished if it was 127.
