I tried to use your tools, I do exactly what you say.
clean intalation of gp4, gpx patch,zaz tools,updater, patchdownloader etc etc as the instructions says. I install the 2005 mod and ok everything goes perfect, wonder fantastic.
But then I install the dtm mod, I proceed with the tracks like instructions says, and when I start to play, oh my god, the DTM flies? no, but I'm 30 meters over the track...
And if I change to the 2005 mod, and load the f12005 tracks,oh my god, f1 cars flying... 20 meters over the track.
Furthermore I have to say that is not your bussiness what I have in my computer, I prefer far more the edu_13 tracks, but your "tool" acts like malware deleting other things.
Please help me because I'm starting to thing that Zaz tools It's like windows vista, very nice, but very unuseful.
I know that this is a beta ok. I just tell my troubles with it

It seems the wrong dat files will be loaded by CSM. But why it happends, i'm not sure, do you have gp4's original tracks or some updated tracks? Maybe that can be the trick. See what profile the gpx starts (tracks), it need to be the orignal values. (slot 1 st1ct.dat, slot 2 st2ct.dat etc etc) else i have no idea maybe Zaz can help you to solve this problem.

Good luck

If the only problem are flying cars and wrong position of track then it's clearly due to the .dat files which have wrong order. You can also press '8' ingame to enable the trackmap (with GpxPatch)...probably you'll see another layout then supposed to be.

Now I have to come back to my studies. So I don't play with

I don't think the 2004 megapatch was CSM or TSM compatible. Was it?

@Laguna - which tracks are loaded - the dat is where you drive, and the wad is what you see. Can you tell which ones they are? It sounds like something wrong with your installation, and with the track map not appearing when you hit 8 is strange. Do other GPxPatch things work?

Some of the DTM tracks (Spa, Bruno, Zanvoort) I would like to use with some of the formula MODS and with the LPM mod. I opened the track dat files in GP4Builder, changed the number of laps to use with the LPM mod (used Bruno). Saved as a different date name. Used TSM to select the track wad and the new .dat file. In game still shows 30 laps.

How do you modify the number of laps to use with other Mods? Or are the .dat files secured and locked? Or ,is there anothe way to change the number of laps in the game for these DTM tracks?

@RichardJ - I think the best thing would be to copy the Default.tmd file, and name it LMP.tmd (for example). Open it in notepad and make some changes: pitstop info, setups, fuel consumption, etc and:
[GP4INFO]
Laps=30

In your track profile add the magic data to whichever slot you use:
MagicData4=Brno\DTM2005\LMP.tmd

Check the DTM2005-33.ini for an example

There isn't DTM 2006 mod? Did you mean F1 2006 mod?

Just installed this mod and I have to say it's fantastic! But one thing I'd like to have is the DTM logo. Where to get DTM logo and how to setup GPxPatch to load F1 logo when using F1 mods and DTM with DTM mod?

I am still wondering: i have little knowledge of the dtm physics, but the cars in game make about 14.000 rpm, is that correct? As the rev-counter on the cockpit dashboard only goes to 8000 rpm...?

Did you notice anything that could explain the exagerate acceleration I got ? As I said, I don,t know a lot about the physics of those cars, but I trust you about the accuracy of what you released :) The funny thing (dunno if I mentionned it earlier or not ;)) is that even if I alter the gears (especially 6th gear), I don't feel any difference at all when I accelerate :s

Anyway, I trust you, and I'll still enjoy this mod, even if I get stuck to the top speed by a finger clap :)
