It is my pleasure to reveal the new Keels Racing livery to be used from Belgium onwards. I was granted special access to the car as it was shown for the very first time on Sunday morning at a very wet Spa Francorchamps ahead of the Christmas Grand Prix. The KRH-1B is designed to keep Keels Racing's much talked about and controversial colour scheme whilst making the car more attractive for the teams new sponsors; Honda, Cadbury, Bridgestone and Shell are joined by Playboy and Telefonica after a successful opening two rounds for this young team. Currently lying third in the Constructor's Championship, the new money will surely help make them become consistent race winning contendors.
Francisco Fapitalle sat in the car for the first time, though the strict testing restrictions over race weekends meant he wasnt able to test out the car on the track.
We'll see in practise tomorrow whether there is any immediate improvement!
