Hi,
Is it possible to move or remove some of the in cockpit lights? I mean the pit-indicator, the drivingaids led's etc? Which tool do I have to use to do this?

I know that with teameditor it's possible to move ALL lights, but I want to move a SINGLE light.

Thanks, JeDa

Hi,
I found out that I can move them by using zmodeler. It works fine, only problem is that I can move the lights but I cant seem to move the textures which are supposed to be on the lights. How can I move the textures?

Thanks, JeDa

Just remap the moved parts with ZModeler.

I advise you to remap one light at a time.

With ZModeler :

- Select the faces (be sure to be in "Face level", which is the 2nd icon of the 4 cube icons of the main toolbar) of the light you want to remap, using the tool "Select... > Single..." and right-clicking on the corresponding faces. At this rate, it has to appear in red.
- Enable the "SEL" button at the bottom of the "Main Toolbox" toolbar.
- Use the tool "Surfaces... > Mapping... > Assign UV" and left-click on the selected faces.
- Switch to the "UV Mapper" view clicking in the icon at the top left-hand corner of the main view. Then you should see the texture and the location on the texture of the faces you selected.
- Switch to "Object level" (last icon of the 4 cubes on the main toolbar) and disable the "SEL" button.
- Edit the location of the faces on the texture using the tools "Modify... > Move" and "Modify... > Scale"
- See the result with the others views and begin again with the other lights.

I hope it is clear, and if it's not don't hesitate to ask anything :)

Hi,
It doesnt work. This is what I did:
1) imported the cockpit_dash.gp4 file
2) switched to the "face(3)"level
3) select -> single -> right click on the item I want to move. It turns red
4) surface -> mapping -> assign UV -> left click on red item -> nothing happens..
5) Switch to UV-mapper view -> nothing....

What am I doing wrong?

Did you enable the "SEL" button ? Did you add the texture to the material list ?

No, I couldnt find the "main toolbox" toolbar. Is it in the menu?
I havent added any textures to the material list....

Perhaps it's to complicated for me. Where should I put the tex file?
